Why You Shouldn’t Miss This
The North Rim, considered the ‘quiet’ rim, receives a tenth of the visitors as the South Rim. But don’t let this fool you into thinking it’s any less grand. Home to two of the park’s most popular viewpoints, the North Rim offers a more intimate Grand Canyon experience. With dozens of photo ops, and no crowds, you’re guaranteed the perfect shot. Swing by the 8,803-foot Point Imperial, the rims highest point, and head to Bright Angel Point for stunning views of the Roaring Springs.

Just a short distance from the North Rim, board your helicopter at the Grand Canyon Airport for an exhilarating 25 to 30-minute air tour. Fly over the Kaibab National Forest and across the deepest and widest part of the Grand Canyon, Dragon Corridor. With a depth of nearly a mile and a width of about 11 miles across, the central region of the Grand Canyon is the most photographed area. The geography is at its most diverse here, d the canyon walls paint an impressive cascade of colors.
Your flight will employ a loop, so you’re guaranteed picture-perfect photo ops regardless of which side of the aircraft you’re sitting on! As you make your way back to the helipad, enjoy breathtaking views of the mighty Colorado River, impressive rock formations and, once again, the Dragon Corridor.
