The Pantheon is a secret gem and a must-visit! It's less crowded than many of the other famous Paris sites. The building is stunning (begun as a church during the Monarchy and then switched to being used by the Republic to honor important secular people). The paintings and architecture on the top floor are incredible, along with the Focoult pendulum, and in the crypts below are Voltaire, Rousseau, Louis Braille, Marie Curie and Josephine Baker - just to mention a few.

A great experiece, all the way from the very nice person managing the que and instructing me how to buy a ticket online to avoid the que, to being in the crypt where the giants rest. And to see a Focault pendulum for real! and the classical paintings and scultures togetner with Kiefer's modern art, together with someone singing beautifully in the background, and with all the horrors in the world in mond. It was really huge.

The skip-the-line entrance made it much easier as it was very cold and windy. That's why buying the ticket in advance made it easier, as we didn't have to stand in line to buy the ticket, which was long on the day of the visit!
    • Enjoy reserved access to the Panthéon, a neoclassical icon that evolved from church to national monument.

    • Grab your information booklet and explore the historic crypt, home to more than 70 celebrated figures like Voltaire and Marie Curie.

    • See Foucault’s Pendulum in motion, a fascinating demonstration of Earth’s rotation.

    • Opt for a ticket that includes guided Pantheon tour, a walking tour to Notre Dame, and a live orientation of Notre Dame’s exterior for deeper insights.

    • Admission ticket (can be used on any date and at any time)

    • Information booklet (available online or at the entrance)

  • These tickets can't be cancelled or rescheduled.

L'Officiel des spectacles announced a 6.30pm closing time, but in reality the Panthéon closes at 6pm! (Winter opening hours, we were told). And the crypt closes at 5.30pm. As a result, I had to rush around the whole place without enjoying the visit, as I had entered at 5 p.m. thinking I had 1.5 hours to spare for the Robert Badinter exhibition... Frustrating!

Incredibly beautiful and a look into the cellar vaults is also worthwhile! We bought the tickets spontaneously on site and were able to go in straight away instead of waiting 45 minutes, it went really well!

The Panthéon in Paris is breathtaking in scale and atmosphere. Its architecture is powerful, the interior is calm and inspiring, and the views from the dome are unforgettable.
