Exploring the Paris Catacombs
On the day of your experience, head to the pick-up point, located 50 meters from the Catacombs, right next to McDonalds. Upon displaying your booking number, collect your skip-the-line tickets and avoid the hassle of waiting in a long queue. Walk straight through the entrance and venture 20 meters (65 feet) underground, into one of the city’s most enticing attractions.
After descending 130 steps, you’ll land on a gravel pathway. From here, allow your audio guide to lead you through a one-way, 2km stretch of mysterious ossuary. Explore the ancient past of Paris as you make your way along a maze of walls lined with skulls and bones. Learn all about how the Catacombs came to be and discover the role they’ve played on the city’s past and present. Hear urban legends, ghost stories, and tales about secret Cataphile parties. At the end of your tour, climb up 83 steps and make your way out of the dark, back to The City of Lights.

Catacombs tour timings
The Paris Catacombs are open Tuesday - Sunday, from 10 AM to 8:30 PM. Closed on Mondays and major holidays (May 1st and January 1st). You can use your skip-the-line tickets anytime between 11 AM and 5 PM.
Audio guide
The audio guide runs for 30 minutes; however, you may stay inside the Catacombs as long as you’d like. Please note, a complimentary audio guide is included in the adult ticket only. Guests under 18 years of age can enjoy a highly discounted ticket price, but an audio guide will need to be purchased on site near the Catacombs entrance.
Getting there
To reach the Catacombs via the hop-on hop-off bus, take the White line to stop #21.

Blue line - Every 8 minutes from 9.30 AM (Apr. to Oct.) & every 15 minutes from 9.30 AM (Nov. to Mar.)
White line - Every 15 minutes from 9.30am
Red line - Every 25 minutes from 9.15am

You may board the bus at any stop within the 3 routes. Present a printout of your ticket voucher to the driver to redeem your bus pass.

How to Use Your Bus Ticket
Bring a printout of your e-voucher and present it to the driver directly upon boarding the Open Tour bus. You may redeem your voucher at any stop within the 3 routes.
Validity
Valid for one year from the date of purchase. The day on which you exchange your e-ticket counts as the first day of your pass. Please note: A 1-day pass does not mean 24-hours. For example, if you redeem your e-ticket at noon, your service will end at the end of that day’s service. Not at noon the next day.
How to Use Your Catacombs Ticket
On the day of your experience, display your voucher on your mobile phone at the redemption center located 50 meters from the Catacombs, next to McDonalds, and receive your physical tickets for the Catacombs. Once you have your tickets, head to the Catacombs entrance and bypass the long queue. Please note: Audio guides are only included with adult tickets.
