Getting started
Meet your guide at the Safari or City Office in Rovaniemi. Show your driver’s license if you plan to drive, gear up in warm overalls, and attend a safety briefing before heading out.
What to expect
Snowmobile ride: Glide across Lapland’s snowy forests on a shared snowmobile for about one hour, with a short stop for photos and driver swaps.
Reindeer Manor: Visit a reindeer farm, enjoy a 500m sleigh ride, and earn a reindeer driver’s license while learning about herding traditions from locals.
Husky farm: Meet energetic Alaskan Huskies and experience their strength on a 500m sleigh ride through the Arctic landscape.

To drive a snowmobile, you must hold a valid class B driver’s license; provisional licenses or photos will not be accepted.

The license must be in Latin letters or provided with an official English or Finnish translation.

Each snowmobile is shared by two adults, so in odd-numbered groups one participant will need to pair up accordingly.

Adults and children without licenses can join the safari in a sledge pulled safely by the guide’s snowmobile.

Drivers are responsible for damages to the snowmobile, with liability capped at €950 per vehicle.

Additional insurance is available on-site for €15 before the tour begins, reducing the liability to €150.
