The tour was fun and very informative. Unfortunately, it was the summer break, which is why maintenance work was taking place in the opera house (working platform in the orchestra pit etc.). But it wasn't a problem.

Semperoper Tour
Step inside Dresden’s Semperoper as your guide leads you through marble-floored hallways, past chandeliers that cast a golden glow on hand-painted ceilings. In the grand auditorium, see plush red velvet seats facing an ornate proscenium, where operas by Wagner once premiered. Learn about its 19th-century Neo-Renaissance design, wartime destruction, and stunning post-war restoration.
