Honestly this was way more chill than I expected! We went as a couple and our guide Haru was suuuper friendly (she even remembered everyone’s names, which is wild). My bf is obsessed with taking pics and Haru pointed out all the best angles for Fuji—even suggested a little side trail I’d never have spotted. Lunch was so-so (I picked the unagi, not mind-blowing but fine). Weather started out meh but cleared up for EPIC views at the 5th station. Worth the early wake up. Would do it again for sure.

Did the tour with 2 friends and honestly, we had a BLAST. Bus was a bit cramped but our guide Yoshi had mad energy & cracked jokes the whole time. Mt Fuji was hiding behind clouds half the day but when it peeked out, everyone lost it. Lunch was just ok (wagyu wasn’t worth the hype, imo), but the little lake stop after was peaceful. Heads up: toilets at the mountain stops = bring ur own tissues.

Went solo and met some cool folks on the bus—shoutout to Maya from Singapore! Tour guide (Tomiko) was super sweet and gave out little candies at every stop, which was such a tiny but sweet touch. Was worried about bathroom breaks but we stopped often enough. Fuji showed up for us, which felt lucky. Bring a jacket, it gets cold up there!

Took my mom and little bro—absolute WIN. Our guide, Kana, made everyone laugh and had facts for literally everything (did you know Mt Fuji is actually still an active volcano?? wild). The weather was perfect and the onsen option at the end = heaven. Only thing: wish the bus seats reclined more, my back was dying by the end.

Mixed feelings. The guide was friendly but the group was huuuge (felt like herding cats). We barely got 20 min at the pagoda, kinda rushed. Fuji was barely visible but hey, that’s weather for ya. If you like structure, this is ur thing. If not, maybe go solo.

Wasn't sure what to expect but it was worth it. Got lucky with a clear day, Fuji looked fake it was so pretty. Tour was organized, guide spoke good English, food was fine (not great but edible lol). Would be cool if we had more time at the lake though.
