Captain was super friendly, gave fantastic commentary along the way, kept us informed of weather and water spray on outdoor areas and had a great sense of humour. He made it all very enjoyable. Plus he gave time once docked to chat one on one about Perth and the state and the ferry systems which was all very informative and well balanced. Great experience

We travelled on the bus around the island and got off at west end, saw 2 Osprey and about 12 fur seals, it was fantastic. Had a swim at one of the Little beaches and the water was amazing. Lunch and a few quiet drinks at the bar waiting for the ferry, what more could you ask for. Great day out 😊😊

Easy is the word that explains the tour. Easy due to the communication and reminders that you receive. Easy to just jump on the ferry and relax as the next stop is Rottnest Island. Easy to board for the return journey.

Single pieces of luggage up to 22kg and no larger than 800mm x 500mm x 400mm can be stowed in the vessels’ luggage crates.

Single carry-on items must be no larger than 600mm x 400mm x 300mm.

1 piece of luggage is permitted per person. Additional luggage will incur an excess luggage charge.

Additional information

Guide dogs are allowed onboard. However, as Rottnest Island is an A-Class reserve you should contact the rangers there for further advice on service dog allowance.

All passengers must arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes before departure. If you are traveling with no luggage or freight and have e-tickets or QR codes, please make your way straight to the boarding gate. Final Boarding is 5 minutes before departure after which the vessel gangways are removed to ensure that the vessel departs by the stated time.
