Purchased the unguided tour so we could go at our on pace. Easy entry with the fast pass tickets. Selected the 3:30 pm tickets to avoid the morning crowds, with the knowledge that the museum closes at 6 pm. However, we weren't able to enjoy key aspects such as the cafe as we learned at the host stand that it closed at 4:45, nor the rooftop terrace as it closed at 5 pm, along with the souvenir shops. They start exiting guests at 5 pm so we were disappointed and felt our visit was cut short. Would have been nice to know these aspects BEFOREHAND. Recommend a morning time slot even though will likely be more crowded, just so you can enjoy the while museum if you'd like.

We skipped the question. The museum is amazing , a pure feast for the eyes . We spent about 3 hours looking at the thousands of beautiful things in a beautiful building . We stopped in the coffee shop too and enjoyed a well earned rest and good cakes. The museum staff were very helpful. If you are pushed for time I would book a tour but if you are flexible I would just explore it by yourself.

The place was magical, and the collections exceptional. Despite the crowds, it was still a great experience. I hadn't been back since I was a child, and this visit made a big impression on me. This time I came with my son, and I hope this visit will spark his curiosity about art. Bonne continuation. Matthieu.

A memorable experience, a place full of culture and art organized as best as possible for every subject, even for those who do not know art. Strong emotions, heart and eyes full of beauty.

A great experience in really impressive buildings. We really liked the exhibitions, as well as the organization, so that not too many visitors came in at the same time.

Virtually no waiting at the tills, no crowds in the halls, very fine "art est dans la rue" exhibition. Back to the permanent exhibits: Seurat, Manet, Monet, etc.

The exhibits, of course, but also the interior. It has an interesting design and layout. There were a lot of people in the building.

Entry was easy with a slotted time and queues related to that time. The art displayed was wonderful and I saw some of my favourites. I loved it. I enjoyed a hot chocolate and a slice of banana cake at a cute and well serviced cafe at the Musee.
  • Save money and time with this combo ticket, which offers access to two of Paris’ must-visit attractions: the sightseeing cruise on Canal Saint-Martin and the Seine and the Orsay Museum.

    Sightseeing cruise on Canal Saint-Martin

Your Seine and Canal St Martin cruise starts with a peaceful glide along the Saint Martin canal. As you sail, you’ll pass beneath charming footbridges and through the hidden vault of the Bastille. Navigating through the canal’s locks, each reveals a new sight, leading to the Bassin de la Villette, Paris's largest artificial lake. The journey finishes on the Seine River, with views of Paris’s famous landmarks like Notre Dame. The cruise culminates on the Seine River, where Paris's iconic landmarks like Notre Dame unfold before your eyes.

    Orsay Museum

Once inside, you are free to explore the museum as you like.

Once done with the sightseeing cruise, the Orsay Museum with early 19th-century sculptures and classical paintings awaits you. Explore French Realist and Symbolist art and gain insights into the cultural and artistic developments of the late 19th century. Stroll through the exhibits of sculptures and decorative arts, including furniture, and other artifacts from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. One of the Orsay Museum’s best-kept secrets is its Terrasse d’Été, Summer Terrace — with lovely views of the Seine River, the Louvre, and in the distance, even Sacre Coeur perched high on its hill in Montmartre.
