What we loved most about my experience was how genuinely friendly everyone was. The staff and characters waved so often, smiled, and made us feel so welcome, especially when they found out it was our first time visiting. One of the absolute highlights was meeting Shrek. He was just as excited as we were! He gave Sam a huge hug, and they both laughed so much that Shrek ended up holding his heart like he couldn’t believe how funny and joyful the moment was. It was so special, especially coming from Australia and not speaking Japanese, to be able to interact in such a physical, no verbal way. It made the experience feel truly magical and unforgettable. Thank you so much! We will remember this forever.

So much to do and the theater stuff was great. Recommend watching Sing (mostly for the kids) and Rock Roll Monster (forgot the name, but it had Japanese Beetlejuice & English singers). Got the Pass 4 express pass and make sure it either includes the park entry or you'll need to pay that separately. Harry Potter ride was the most fun VR ride experience I've ever done. So sick. Musts for me: -Harry Potter express pass -Jurassic World rides (we didn't get express but got in as soon as we walked in) -Mario cart express pass -Jaws (fluctuates in waiting, but wasn't bad at all) -Backdrop ride

the fast pass is 100 percent worth it. There are so many people at USJ and so little rides that the average wait was 60 minutes. However with headout I was unable to pick a time slot so I didn't get access to super nintendo world until later But we were still able todo alot because of the fast pass.

    This park is incredible, but it's incredibly busy, which is why I took out the "coupe-file" tickets, which allowed us to do 7 attractions without waiting, as opposed to waiting hours without them. You'll also need to bring something to protect you from the sun in summer when you're moving between attractions or worlds, as it's very, very hot and the sun is very strong if the weather is clear. The attractions are really excellent, especially the rollerscusters which are really great (Hollywood dreams, mine cartmadness ...). The only uninteresting family attraction (according to us and my 7-year-old son) is Yoshi World. In short, a huge park, very well designed, with very friendly, smiling and highly motivated staff, and breathtaking attractions and worlds, but you absolutely must have a ticket to really enjoy them!

    Our family visit to Universal Studios Japan was nothing short of spectacular. As a group of five, including a young child and teens, we were looking for a theme park that could delight every age—and Universal delivered beyond our expectations. We purchased our tickets in advance via the Headout app, which made the process easy and reliable. Everything went smoothly at the entrance, and we highly recommend this method for anyone planning a visit. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere was vibrant, clean, and extremely well-organized. The themed areas were immersive and full of surprises. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was a dream come true for our daughters, while the Super Nintendo World left us in awe with its attention to detail and interactive features. Even our 7-year-old had an amazing time, especially in Minion Park and on family-friendly rides. What impressed us most was the level of hospitality from the staff—always kind, helpful, and efficient even when the park was busy. We used the Express Pass, which made our experience smooth and stress-free, minimizing wait times and allowing us to enjoy more attractions. We also appreciated the range of dining options available, including both themed restaurants and more casual eateries with Japanese and Western food. Everything was clean, clearly marked, and surprisingly well-priced for a theme park. This was definitely a highlight of our family trip to Japan. Universal Studios Japan is not just for kids—it's a place where everyone, young and old, can feel like a child again. Tip: Get there early and plan your Express Pass slots in advance to maximize your visit. Don’t miss the night show if available!

    Headout was amazing, and easy to use. Would highly recommend. I definitely recommend getting the Timed entry and express pass package as well without this package we would have been stuck in ridiculously long lines.

    It was so great to skip lines, we would not have managed in 37 degree heat any other way. The parent switch and express passes meant we got to see a lot more of the park than we would have otherwise. Harry Potter forbidden ride was a favourite and the minions mayhem.
