The directions given by Headout to get into the Chateau of Versailles were clear. The difficult part was trying to work out which direction to walk from Versailles Rive Gauche RER station as arrows pointed in both directions. Basically turn right out of the station, walk until the next big junction and look left for the golden gates, about 10 mins walk. The audio guide led us around the Palace well, and there were clear instructions how to get to the next point. Best of all the audio guide paused until we got to the correct spot (other guides I have used in the past got very confusing). An audio or physical guide is definitely required, as there is little information in each room. The tour concentrated on the grandeur of Versailles, but it would have been interesting to hear more of the actual experience of living or working there.

It was really worth it! For one thing, we spent an hour (or more) less waiting in line because we were allowed to enter through a second "VIP" entrance. But even apart from that, I highly recommend it, as you're completely lost in this huge building without a guide and can't really appreciate the significance of the collections. It's also only 1 hour, which means you still have the energy and time afterward to explore the Louvre on your own. Our guide Andrea made the whole thing a very pleasant, lovely, stress-free experience and answered all our questions and everything. Thanks again!

After having been to Paris on other trips, I hadn't had the chance to visit Versailles, and WOW—on this trip I got lucky and I truly loved it! How did I miss out on this in years past? The tickets arrived on our phones in good time. Admission went according to schedule and was well-organized. The guided tour was good, but unfortunately we wanted to see more. Either the indoor tour wasn't quite right, or you have to pay extra for all the rooms. Unfortunately, the carriage hall was closed, even though it was supposed to be open. The park is very vast. Visiting Madame Antoinette isn't strictly necessary; it felt more like an exhibition of the movie starring Kirsten Dunst. Still, well worth the trip!!!

One of the most memorable experiences, I can't say anything negative about this. Ticketing was easy, just show up 15 mins prior to your entry time. Lots to see rich in culture, art and history.. highly recommended. Be prepared to walk a fair bit though, the palace is huge!

Got there early and went to the garden first until the scheduled tour time. The line gets long so I gave myself enough time. The audio was perfect because it goes with your pace. Everything was beautiful! Loved it!

There is no priority access to the temporary exhibitions inside the Louvre. If you miss your scheduled time slot, you must join the line for regular ticket holders.

The visit routes will be signposted, with no possible backtracking to avoid crossing flows. Additionally, re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.
