The Belvedere Castle was by far the monument that impressed me the most! Beautiful, snow-white, well-kept. Spacious spaces inside, and although there were a lot of people, with the hourly entrances it' was possible to visit it without problems. The works on display are noteworthy, Klimte and Schiele stand out, but the whole collection is of great depth. The gardens are very beautiful and take you back to the years of good royal walks. Punctual with the schedule, you enter without wasting time.

Wonderful experience at the Upper Belvedere: well-kept museum, not too crowded and really enjoyable visit. The rooms devoted to Klimt (especially The Kiss) are exciting, and I also really enjoyed Monet and the portrait of Napoleon. After the visit it was nice to walk in the gardens, which are very scenic. The Lower Belvedere, on the other hand, I would have avoided in hindsight: it did not excite me and I found it less interesting than the upper part.

I have recently visited Belvedere together with my husband and we both find all the complex (gardens and the palaces) absolutely amazing. Inside the Upper Belvedere you can find a lot of valuable paintings separated by the historical period when they were made, including the "Napoleon crossing the Alps" by Jacques Louis David and "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt. I definitely recommend everyone a visit to Belvedere when coming to Vienna.
