    Arrive at the traditional tea house near Kinkaku-ji and meet your English-speaking instructor. Present your booking confirmation at the entrance before your 45-minute session begins. You’ll receive a brief introduction to the history of Japanese tea ceremonies and learn basic etiquette before entering the tatami-lined room.

    • If sitting on the floor is difficult, chairs can be arranged on request — please inform the instructor in advance.
