Waiting time at the reception is comfortable and air-conditioned. The local guide explains very well (Renata) and solves any doubts.Joadi

Seeing the statue of David in person was amazing. We really loved seeing Michelangelo's unfinished statues as it helped us gain an understanding of his process. A video on gilded wooden panels was really interesting too. A stunningly finely embroidered tapestry was another favourite too. Had issues with both the Headout app & email on the day. I was able to access the app and tickets the night before but at the meeting pint neither the app or 'show tickets' tab in the email would open. Very weird. I had no trouble with any other travel apps on my phone so it wasn't an Internet access issue. Also, I had booked for 9:30am session but the 2 tickets the host gave us were forv8:55-9am & 9-9:15am. Fortunately we stayed as long as we like in the gallery so all ended well.Rosemary

You cannot go to Florence and not see David! The tour guide arranged our entry quickly, bringing us from the meeting point, a short walk from the Accademia, straight into the entrance. The quick entry was worth the price, this visit isn't cheap though!! There are some wonderful pieces here, so take your time to explore, rather than head straight for David. And when you turn into the gallery to see him, perfectly positioned in great natural light, it does take your breath away. Also, walking all around him to get the full effect, you will admire Michelangelo's attention to detail, something I never fully appreciated from photos previously. Thus can be a short visit, but definitely worth it!!Monica

Fantastic place with loads of great art. Extremely crowded but that was not surprising really. Was easy using headout. Guy with tickets was easy to find and it did mean we could head straight in with just a brief security check. Michaelangelo's David is fantastic and so glad I've seen the real thing.
Accademia Gallery
Enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of seeing one of the most iconic sculptures of all time, Michelangelo's David, depicting the biblical character before his battle with Goliath. However, this is just the tip of the art iceberg that the gallery has to offer - known for housing Michelangelo’s greatest works along with other works from renowned artists. These are some important halls you absolutely cannot miss like Hall of Prisoners, The Tribune, and Hall of The Colossus.
Boboli Gardens
At Boboli Gardens, the architecture, landscaping, and sculptures meld in ancient style and Renaissance art. Look into aesthetic grottos, the most famous of which being the Regal Fountain of Neptune created by Bernardo Buontalenti. Admire the 6-meter high obelisk from the time of Ramses II. Explore the garden to discover Branch Archways, the Boboli Amphitheater, and the Garden of Ganymede. With this ticket, you can even visit the Bardini Gardens and the Museum of Porcelain, all set within the massive grounds of Boboli Gardens.
Pitti Palace
Inside the massive Pitti Palace, you can tour the opulent Palatine Gallery, home to a stunning collection of Renaissance art. Marvel at works by Raphael, Titian, and Caravaggio while surrounded by exquisite period rooms. Wander through the sumptuous Boboli Gardens for a taste of Italian landscaping genius.
