Best things to do in Stuttgart

The day before yesterday, on January 3, 2026, I finally visited the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart - and it was simply incredible! I had been planning the trip for a long time and finally made it over the New Year holidays. The museum is open from 9am to 6pm (except Mondays, as usual), and I got there just before it opened to avoid the biggest crowds. An adult ticket currently costs around 16 euros (I bought it online to avoid the queue), and it was totally worth it.

I loved the first cars produced by the company, the atmosphere, and the details given by the museum when walking to another level of the museum.

We liked everything except for one thing: the man at reception was very aggressive. When we asked for headphones for the tour, we were told that there were none, but we asked if they might be available at another counter, whereupon the young man banged the table aggressively and discontentedly, as if we had forced him to ask. The child was frightened. We are from Ukraine, and any violent movement is stressful for us at the moment.

Buying tickets in advance of your visit means you don't have to queue to buy them on the spot. Knowing that the museum filled up quickly, it was a good idea to buy tickets in advance.

A museum not to be missed, from the history and evolution of Mercedes Benz, to all the world events to accompany the evolution.

It was the simplest way to get in the museum with the digital ticket. No needed to change it in the cashier. We went strait to the entry. The Mercedes Benz Museum was fantastic experience. We arrived there by 09.00, was no crowd, we could take pictures without any disturbing.

I received this experience as a gift from my friends for my birthday and I thought it was great, especially as having an app for the tickets and no paper at all is very nice.

Beautiful, it is the best museum I have visited. Ideal to go with the family. In addition the audio guides are there to help and understand everything you need.
