Great value for the price. Saw all the main spots in one swoop. Can get crowded at the gates though. Guide gave us some local sweets to try, which was a nice bonus. Would go again, maybe in cooler season.

Went with my mom and younger bro—honestly, I didn’t expect to like it THIS much. Our guide (Masa?) was suuuuper patient with all my questions and somehow made all the old stuff feel ALIVE. Crowds were kinda wild at Fushimi Inari but worth it for those orange gates. My bro loved the deer at Nara, but beware—they WILL snatch your snacks if you’re not careful. Weather was sticky but the shade in the temple gardens helped. Left feeling tired but happy. If you want to see the Kyoto ‘greatest hits’ in a day, this is it.

Long day but worth it. Some parts felt rushed but otherwise you’d never see this much in one day. The deer are hilarious, just don’t wave food around. Weather was HOT, bring sunscreen. Would recommend.

Family trip with my two teens. Even they were into it, which says a lot! The guide (Shiori) had a great sense of humor, and the deer at Nara were a highlight. Got to feed them (careful, they’ll chase you if you have cookies). Weather was perfect, sunny but breezy. Lunch spot was okay, nothing fancy. Would recommend for families.

Took my parents and my kids—everyone found something to love. The deer are the funniest. Our guide was patient and didn’t mind my dad’s endless questions. Bit of a walk at the shrine, but it’s all shaded. Worth the sore feet.

I’ve done a lot of tours but this one stuck with me. The guide was a LEGEND, so patient with my elderly dad. The deer made us laugh so much. Weather was cloudy, which was actually nice for photos.

The day was SO FULL but in a good way. Our guide kept us moving but never felt bossy. The shrines and temple are beautiful, but the deer really steal the show (one tried to take my scarf). If you’re a history nerd, you’ll love it. Wear comfy shoes!

Was a bit worried about the group size but it was manageable. Guide was super organized. Highlight was feeding the deer (they bow! So cute). Bring snacks for the bus ride.
