Krakow for history geeks

Touring such a large mine was an incredibly impressive. Our guide was very humorous, knowledgeable and experienced. The information about the underground channels and the history of the mine was quite interesting. However we didn't know that there was two different tours during buying the tickets from "headout". I think, unfortunately we couldn't see the largest church in the mine and some sculptures made by salt, although these are existing on the web sites. This disappointed us.

Absolutely competent guide; Sylwia showed and explained details of sights and background information on the city's history that you won't find in any guidebook. The flexibility due to the weather conditions was also impressive. The service in the background is also highly recommended.

Especially I want to underline the excellent guide service in French Zofia Szatan. Thanks to his explanations I could know better and value more the treasures of the cathedral and the city of Krakow in general. I strongly recommend this tour.

Very good welcome. The driver was punctual at the meeting point. He waited for us during the visits and drove us to the second site. Return on time. Top service. Would recommend.

Everything was well organised. Only, we left at 5.30 h in Krakow and enterd the museum at 12.30 pm. It's a long morning without doing anything.

We received an email the day before to say our times had been changed - booked 8am pick up, changed to 9:40am. Not a massive problem for us as we had nothing else planned that day. Bus guide was chatty and friendly - explained in great detail how the day would unfold. The tour guide was good. Shared details well. The overall experience is difficult to sum up as it's such a tragic journey so you can't say "I had a great time" I felt it was very busy and felt we could have had longer at points to take things in and ask questions but it was difficult as there were so many groups.
