The theater of Taormina is one of the best preserved Greek theaters, and in fact, today it is still used for performances in summer. It is shocking to think that on those same steps the ancient spectators were delighted with the words of Aeschylus, Sophocles or Euripides. Besides, the weather was very nice (mid-October) and we were able to visit at our leisure.

Came early, spent one and a half wonderful hour before it got too crowded. Liked the audio guide a lot, nice to walk around and listen and spend the time I wanted. Also liked that the audio guide included som general history and stories about the area

I bought the tickets on the Headout website. The whole process went perfectly, very clear and easy to follow. At the entrance to the site, I exchanged the countermarks for tickets without any problem. I even turned up 1h30 before the initial resa time, and the exchange was made immediately. Apart from that, the site is monumental, the views sublime. A lot of pleasure and emotion.
