We went on a day when it rained more than it has in along time. More than 100 mls. The train was closed the walkways were closed but the staff more than made up for it with their enthusiasm and caring attitude. It was a tough day for them too but they went about their work with a smile!! Thanks guys!

Its a great experience, booking through headout made us skip the long queue. The scenic worldnis a must as 1. it has the world's highest rooftop cableway 2. World's steepest railway through the ancient rainforest of Australia. For kids the dinosaur valley is really interesting and engaging. I loved the dino diner cafe expe as well. Honestly the best Zoo experience I've had so far!! My favv part is that some of the animals are able to roam freely and you get to be close to them. Their places are so big and clean. I came through on the weekend but it was not packed at all. Definitely would come back again 💕

Accessibility

Sydney Zoo

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. Prams are available to hire for $15 with a $20 refundable deposit. Wheelchairs are free to hire with a $50 refundable deposit.

Scenic World

The Cableway, Skyway, and the shortest part of the rainforest boardwalk (around 10 minutes) are wheelchair accessible. The Railway is not wheelchair accessible.

Infants and small children must be held by a guardian as baby seats are not provided on the Railway, Skyway, or Cableway.

The Cableway and Skyway are both stroller-friendly experiences. For safety reasons, strollers are not allowed on the Scenic Railway. Stroller access is limited on the longer routes of the Scenic Walkway due to steep gradients and multiple stairs.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue. Bring proof of training and ensure your dog wears a harness and leash at all times.
