This extensive network covers virtually every corner of Switzerland, making it easy to access both popular tourist destinations and off-the-beaten-path gems. You will be able to choose any 3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 travel days within a month of your pass's activation.

Your Interrail Pass is fully mobile! Activate it in the Rail Planner App using the Pass Number from your confirmation email.

After activation, add your journey to get a QR code ticket in the app that must be presented to the inspectors at the station.

Don’t forget to reserve seats for trains that require bookings. Do it early via the Rail Planner app.

This pass is only sold to EU residents and cannot be used by non-European travelers or in the traveler's country of residence (only 2 journeys are allowed in the home country to leave and return).

Follow these steps to get your pass ready to travel.

Your pass must be activated within eleven months after the purchasing date, and before the first travel, through the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner App.

Seat/bed/ferry reservations for mandatory bookable trains or ferries still need to be purchased and are an additional cost to the rail pass. Seat reservations may be limited on some services, advance bookings are recommended (reservations are booked via the Rail Planner app or at the train station).

Note: Unused and unactivated passes can be canceled up to six months from the last possible activation date indicated on the mobile pass.
