Purchasing tickets for this event was initially motivated by the venue and the history behind the Globe. We felt a little intimidated by the Shakespeare material. In preparation we read the play in a number of formats. But even if we hadn't the performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream made the text more accessible than we could've imagined. The actors were inclusive, relatable, and it felt modern while still being true to the original text. The crowd's involvement was delightful and created a sense of community beyond just watching a play. I just wish we could travel back to London to see it again!

This is a venue of legends and it's amazing to think that you are enjoying the works of Shakespere in the place that he knew would host his plays. The cast brilliantly warmed-up the audience before the performance and then the atmosphere was electric! Shakespere may not be 'your thing', but it's almost impossible not to get taken in by the beauty and history of the Globe, and the outstanding performance of the cast.

I've gone to many performances at the Globe when I've visited London, this particular performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream was exceptional! The play started in an utterly unique, ultimately hilarious way as the audience was beginning to filter in, and the play continued with non-stop laughing throughout. The audience members who were targeted were brilliant and leaned into the experience. Fabulous time!

It was an unforgettable experience. My teenage daughter came out of the play saying she wants to be Shakespeare when she grows up :). The whole production was amazing from beginning to end. Thank you!

Wonderful performance, engaging the visitors, witty, mesmerising. Really enjoyed the show in a beautiful authentic setting. Recommended to everyone who loves theatre or even to visitors who will go to the theatre for the first time.
