Vi var snabbt igenom kön på Peastum - det var en vacker! Pompeji var en annan historia eftersom vi inte var medvetna om att den 1: a söndagen i varje månad var en museihelgdag där alla egts in gratis. Vi väntade i kö i 2 timmar eftersom "kupongen" inte räknades som en tryckt biljett som gav oss omedelbar tillgång, och sedan pressades vi in genom grindarna av massor av människor som försökte komma in innan den stängdes.

Hej Det var bra men vi skulle behöva hitta ett sätt att inte behöva ge din e-postadress och kod varje gång. Och det skulle vara bättre under 4 dagar, vilket motsvarar ett komplett besök i staden och dess omgivningar.

Easy to use and good value for site entry and getting around. Got on train from Sorrento to Herculaneum not knowing it only stopped a few times a day. Went through to Naples and easily caught the train to Herculaneum without extra cost or trouble. 😂

It worked all perfect. No issues 👍🏽 one (big) thing i didn't like : the activation process is too long. in my case : write via whatsapp with the team, download the app, register with my personal data and send the registration mail back to the team. For me it's not that big problem, but i think older people will get a problem with that for sure.

The Artecard Campania can be used to get into more than 80 of Campania's most famous sites, including the Ruins of Pompeii, Herculaneum, National Archaeological Museum, Madre, Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte, Royal Palace of Naples, Castel Sant'Elmo, Certosa of San Martino, Royal Palace of Caserta, Paestum, and the Archaeological Museum of Capua.

You are guaranteed free entry to the first 2 attractions. Following this, you get discounted access to several museums, archaeological sites, and other cultural sites in the area for 3 full days. Your visit is enhanced by unlimited access to travel on the Unicocampania Consortium transportation network.

Unmissable sites

The National Archaeological Museum in Naples is one of the many fantastic attractions accessible with the Artecard Campania. It has a magnificent collection of ancient artifacts from the Roman and Greek civilizations. The ruins of Pompeii, a Roman city that was buried when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D., are among them.

Besides Paestum, a major archaeological site with 3 Greek temples and a remarkably intact ancient city center, the ruins of Herculaneum, another Roman city buried by Vesuvius' lava flow, can be seen as well. Visit the Royal Palace, formerly the residence of the kings of Naples, and the Castel dell'Ovo, a fortress built on a tiny island in the Gulf of Naples, to take in stunning views of the city and its surroundings. Use this pass to enter the ancient Catacombs of San Gennaro and discover early Christian graves.

What to bring

Since the Artecard is digital, ensure you have a smartphone with good internet connectivity to download and access your pass.

Bring a form of identification, as it may be required for verification when entering certain sites.

What not to bring

The pass is digital; there's no need to print it unless you prefer a hard copy for your records.

Avoid bringing large bags or unnecessary items that could hinder your mobility while visiting multiple sites.

Additional information

Activation: You will receive your digital pass instantly via email after booking. To activate the card, follow the instructions provided in the voucher. The pass is first activated during entry at your first site. Once activated, it cannot be paused or extended.

Transportation limitations: The pass includes unlimited travel on the Unicocampania Consortium network, but access to Alibus and some Sita Sud lines (e.g., Sorrento/Positano/Amalfi routes) is not included.

Recent changes: As of January 1st, 2023, the Galleria Borbonica and Catacombs are no longer free but can be visited at a reduced fee. Access to the Vesuvius Great Cone is currently suspended.
