One of the most memorable experiences in Phu Quoc! 🚠🌊 The cable car ride is spectacular, especially the views of the turquoise sea, small islands and coastline from above. The cabins are spacious and comfortable, and the journey itself is smooth. The ride takes roughly 20–25 minutes and gives you plenty of opportunities for photos. The cable car connects Sunset Town with Hon Thom Island and is famous for its long sea-crossing route. Current traveler reviews consistently highlight the scenery and the cable car itself as the strongest part of the experience. The main thing to watch out for is crowding and operating intervals. Some recent visitors reported long queues, particularly around the return journey, and the cable car may have a midday operating break depending on the day’s schedule. My take: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The cable car alone is worth experiencing when visiting southern Phu Quoc. We loved the cable car ride, th water park was such fun. The kiss of the sea show was fab. The only bad thing was the wait 5pm to 9pm we went to a restaurant but still had too much time on our hands after a busy and tiring day.

Wonderful experience for a family. The cable car ride was epic, but not air conditioned. The line up on the way home was massive and very hot but it moves fast, can be a bit scary for young kids. Overall the experience was well worth the money and the waterpark was incredible.

This really is 'must see' attraction for anyone visiting Phu Quoc. It was a very simple process from buying tickets online at Headout to entering the cable car and enjoying the ride and exploring Hon Thom.

It was a great day. An experience to try the cable cars. Didn't get to go on kiss bridge I read it was open till 6.30 but it's not! The beach on the island was beautiful. We got on all the attractions we wanted to. My only complaint is that it is so much more expensive than being out of Sunset town.

Getting started

Head to the cable car station in An Thoi to begin your journey. Scan your ticket and pass through a quick security check. Step into your cabin and get ready for the ride.

What to expect

Hon Thom Cable Car: Fly nearly 8km over the sea on the world’s longest cable car. Watch fishing boats, forested islets, and turquoise waves stretch out beneath your feet.

Hon Thom Island: Wander through palm-lined paths, lounge on white sand beaches, or enjoy a drink (included in your ticket) of Sun Kraft brewed beverage, fresh fruit juice, or iced fruit tea.

Aquatopia Water Park: Your ticket includes access to the water park. Enjoy 20+ rides and themed zones. Tackle Sea Dragon and Snake Fight, plunge into the Abyss, or race friends on King Cobra. There’s a lazy river and kids’ splash zones too.

Floating House & Kiss Bridge: Visit the Floating House—an inflatable playground right on Bai Trao beach. End your day with a sunset stroll along the scenic Kiss Bridge.

Meals: Upgrade to include a buffet lunch at Ba Mien Restaurant and enjoy fresh seafood, pho, rice noodles, spring rolls, traditional cakes, tropical fruits, and a variety of vegetarian options.

Hon Thom Beach operating hours are 9:30 AM–4:45 PM

Please note that the cable car service is suspended outside of these operating hours for mid-day breaks.

Hon Thom Cable Car, Aquatopia Water Park, and Exotica Theme Park will be temporarily closed on September 8, 2026 for scheduled maintenance. These attractions are expected to reopen from 9:30 AM on September 9, 2026.
