What’s not allowed

  • Keep in mind food & beverages and alcohol, suitcases, and large bags are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

  • Throwing cushions at the wrestlers is prohibited.


  • This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

Additional information

  • Children up to 3 years must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian while watching.

  • Please be seated during the following events: a sumo match, a speech by the Sumo Association, the ring procession of the Makuuchi division wrestlers (dohyoiri), the ring entering procession of the Yokozuna, or the ritual stomping ceremony.

  • Put your cell phone on silent mode and refrain from talking on it in the audience.

  • Guests aged 4 years and above must have an admission ticket.

  • Please note that re-entry is allowed once a day,

  • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

  • Please arrive at the meeting point 15 mins before the scheduled time of your tour to avoid any delays.

  • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the meeting point.
