With this ticket, you get a full-day tour of this beautiful city, all from the comfort of a car or minivan and the company of a friendly local guide. Starting with your 10:00 AM hotel pick-up, see some of the most picturesque areas of St. Petersburg, and make multiple photo stops at your request. Along the way, your guide will tell you entertaining stories of the city's history and present-day life. At 11:00 AM, stop at the Peter and Paul Fortress, one of the only remaining fortresses of the 18th century. This was once the burial place of Russian emperors, as well as a former political prison. Next on your list is a visit to the Church of Savior on Spilled Blood, named in the honor of Alexander II, in reference to his assassination.
Enjoy a peaceful lunch break and taste the local cuisine (not included) before continuing onwards to St. Isaac's Cathedral at 2:30 PM. Ascend the 300 or so steps to the observation walkway at the base of the cathedral's dome (it's worth it!) and fall in love with the stunning views over the city. By 3:30 PM, you will head to the State Hermitage Museum to see the most important masterpieces of famous painters and sculptors at the Petrovsky Hall and the Throne Hall.
