It was nice that the tour began at the Hippodrome, by the Egyptian obelisk, allowing us to be gradually introduced to the story of what it was like—the relationship between the common people and His Majesty. Topkapi Palace is magnificent; a full tour can take over six hours. The guide, Hal, was interesting and full of stories.

Our guide Husain was lovely, he genuinely seemed excited about what he was showing us, the highlight for me was the basilica cistern, unfortunately the Hagia Sophia was under construction.

I had an incredible dinner on a cruise last night. It lasted for three hours, and every moment was magical. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was just perfect. There was even a live show during the meal, with music and dance, which made the evening so much more special

We had a fantastic night from start to end! The boat looked impressive on Karaköy pier and our starter was waiting for Us when we got on board- drinks package choice and quality were good. Boat was well set out- we had excellent seats. It was my partner's birthday and as i had notfied them they played happy birthday, gave a free cocktail and desert! 🎂❤️The entrainment was traditional and very good. The the belly dancer was spectacular!!! Food was delicious and the staff were friendly, polite and professional!! We had a great time!!!

The whole evening was fun and educational, from sampling of local street treats, to the cultural/spiritual experience of witnessing the Dervish ceremony, to a final dinner of authentic Turkish food at a family owned restaurant. Highly recommended.
