Purchasing tickets online was a quick , easy and smooth experience and we got the day we wanted. Pricing was fair and no other hidden costs. We picked up our physical tickets at the ticket sales counter and proceeded straight on to the observational seating area. Every part of the experience was smooth, straightforward and very enjoyable. Seeing the penguins emerge from the water was the absolute highlight and exactly why we were there. A brilliant, positive and unforgettable experience . Thank you Headout, we highly recommend you and visiting the Penguin Parade !

I think what made it special was I had two lovely fillipino ladies who were so amazed by the courtesy of the staff and patience they showed along with their knowledge of the penguins tge night was truly amazing

Loved the decor and cleanliness. Very spacious rooms. The property is well maintained and really enjoyed the fireplace. Appreciate all the nice games provided for our entertainment. Just want to mention that it would have been nice to have heating in the third bedroom. Thank you for sharing your lovely place. Will surely come back.

The staff and organisers, specially Josh, was amazing with exceptional customer service and they are really knowledgeable about the wildlife on the island, which made our visit very special. We felt like we were given VIP treatment, thank you.

The crowd management wasn't the best given too many ppl were standing and taking flash photography and spoiling the view and the experience for others. While it's appreciated there is limited control that could be exercised some enforcement is required.

The view in the phillip island is breathtaking. Especially the sunset, just wow. The only thing that disappointed are the penguins. The penguins it's not what we expected, we just saw like 2/3penguins only and it's soo crowded during the weekend, Saturday. You have to squeeze yourself to find a spot to see the penguins. But overall, the views are superb.

Phillip Island Nature Parks Penguin Parade

The Penguin Parade at Phillip Island is Australia’s most celebrated wildlife spectacle, where hundreds of little penguins waddle ashore at sunset. The experience includes access to boardwalks, the visitor centre, and prime viewing platforms.

Guests 12 years and under must be accompanied by parents or guardians at all times.

What’s not allowed

Large bags are not permitted. Only small carry-on bags are allowed inside.

Accessibility

The Edge is easily accessible by wheelchair.

Children 7 years or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Additional information

The recommended age for VR experiences is 8 years.

The Edge is a giant glass box in the shape of a cube that can carry up to 12 passengers at a time.

The 'Edge Master' will oversee your entry into the cube and time spent inside (approximately five minutes).

Booking the Edge experience does not guarantee express entry. The Edge cannot be booked for a specific time and operates on a first come, first served basis with a virtual queue (wait times vary).

Bar 88 is located on the Skydeck and offers a range of beverages and gourmet pastries.

What to bring

You can pack a raincoat or umbrella if rain is predicted.

What’s not allowed

Photographs and video recordings are not allowed when penguins are coming home, as artificial light sources can disturb the penguins.

Large bags are not permitted. Only small carry-on bags are allowed inside.

Accessibility

All parks are accessible by wheelchair.

Additional information

Penguins arrive at sunset each evening. Typical arrival times: 8:30–9pm in summer (Dec–Feb), 7–8pm in autumn (Mar–May), 5:15–6pm in winter (Jun–Aug), and 6:30–8pm in spring (Sep–Nov). Arrive at least 1 hour beforehand to secure your seat and enjoy the visitor center before the parade begins.
