Musicals in Brisbane

From the minute we walked into the theatre and the show started we were transported to another world. The lighting and backdrops made us feel like we were there in Russia. Extremely talented cast had us on the edge of our seats feeling all of the emotions from the highs to the lows. Leaving us wanting more. The QPAC itself had exceptional facilities

Anastasia was everything I had hoped that it would be and more. The raw talent of the cast in every aspect - singing, dancing and acting - was phenomenal. The sets and costumes were beautiful. I feel privileged to have watched such a top end production. The Lyric Theatre was a perfect venue for the show with a great atmosphere, exceptional acoustics and delicious popcorn! I cannot recommend Anastasia The Musical enough.

The Book of Mormon is a hilariously entertaining musical with many lovable characters who each have there own quirks. If you like to laugh and sing this is the musical for you. Highly recommed this amazing show!

From the minute the curtain was raised, the energy from the performers and the crowd was palpable. Funny, clever satire, engaging, and SO entertaining, the only thing I wished was that I hadn't waited so long to see this show! My advice is don't wait, just do it.

Fabulous show. The first half was a little slow however the second half was great Ilario Grant who took the main part of MJ was simply superb. He made the show. Overall such a wonderful experience. Having said that all in the show were good.

I grew up with Michael Jackson--he was only a few years older than I am, but I learned more about him in this musical. It was sympathetic to him and his life, yet still realistic. It showed his brilliance and how that talent made working with him a challenge. The dancing, singing, and special effects were very well done. I was especially impressed with the different actors they had portraying MJ from childhood through adulthood. It's a very talented cast and everyone in my group enjoyed the experience. We were forbidden from taking photos during the show.

Unbelievable atmosphere - I have a walking stick and am very unsteady, 80 years old, however access in The beautiful Theatre was wonderful! Staff very caring and helpful and Show itself was wonderfully good. Sting was all I expected and cast were all great! Last year I swam with "whale sharks" this year I saw Sting, next year who knows....
