The Quintessence of Tonkin outdoor show

This open-air production focuses on the heritage of northern Vietnam, with The Quintessence of Tonkin performed on a large outdoor stage. The show draws on the spiritual heritage of Thay Pagoda, known as the birthplace of Vietnamese water puppetry, and unfolds in a series of themed segments.

• Six acts structure the evening, combining traditional water puppetry, live traditional music, dance, and coordinated visual effects across the outdoor set. Each act highlights a different facet of Tonkin culture, from spiritual life connected to Thay Pagoda to rural daily scenes presented through water puppetry.
• Reserved seating is included as per the option selected, with Silver Class side view seating, Gold Class center view seating, or Platinum VIP panoramic view seating giving you different perspectives on the stage and water surface.
• Your admission ticket for the show comes with applicable taxes and service fees already covered, so there are no extra compulsory charges on-site for the performance itself.

Traditional countryside market

Before the performance, you can spend time at the traditional countryside market located within the Baara Land complex. This space is designed around rural Vietnamese market life and is available to explore ahead of the show.
