  • What to bring

    • Bring a valid photo ID, especially if you're joining the wine tasting. Some wineries may check your age, regardless of how old you are!

    • Dress in layers for the Rhine, as the weather can shift quickly from sunny to breezy.

    • During summer (June to August), don’t forget sun protection—a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen will make your boat ride and outdoor time much more pleasant.

    • Pack a light rain jacket or umbrella for sudden showers, especially in spring (March to May) and autumn (September and October).

    What’s not allowed

    • It's best to leave large luggage or bulky bags behind, as storage on the bus and boat is limited.

    • Smoking is prohibited on the bus or during most of the cruise.

    • This tour is wheelchair accessible, but please ensure your wheelchair is foldable.

    • Your guide will meet you on the sidewalk at Wiesenhüttenplatz 38, just steps from Frankfurt’s main train station. Try to arrive 10 minutes ahead of schedule.

    • Do not go inside the Le Méridien Hotel; the guide does not collect guests there or at the door.

    • Please inform the guide of any dietary restrictions in advance so they can make the necessary arrangements.

    • During wine tasting, you’re welcome to spit, sip, or savor, whatever makes you comfortable. Just remember to pace yourself!

    • From December to February, the itinerary may be adjusted due to daylight, weather, or unusual water levels. In such cases, routes may change, parts of the program may be substituted, or the cruise replaced with a visit to a castle or historic site to ensure guest safety.

    • In the summer months (June to early September), you can opt for a relaxing cable car ride to the river.
