We were waiting and waiting for our guide being at the right spot but a bit on the side as there were many groups coming by busses. Nobody appear and we left very disappointed. I sent a message asking for a refund. Only then, I got a phone call from the guide. I had to ask a man from the nearest icecream shop to speak in italian in order to understand where is the group. Finally we found them but usually they should look to find us. I didnt know that we should be together with a big group coming from Florence. I use guides in every place in Italy and elsewhere. The groups are relatively small and the guide looks for the participants and wears a badge or holds an umbrella or a flag so to be easy recognised. After we met, one of 3 of us remained with no head phones and a device.Georgina

Hello, we had a lovely time. The guide was EXCELLENT. There were some elderly people in the group that started arguing with her, I think they wanted a more personalised experience. She handled it really well, as they were particularly beligerant, and carried on delivering an excellent and really knowledgable tour. She has such passion for her city and it really shows. 10/10, would recommend.Maddison

Guide was great, was unfortunate that other guides were sick, our group was not small, it was big!
The tour starts from the Basilica of San Domenico, one of the most important landmarks in the city of Siena. Dedicated to St. Catherine of Siena, the Basilica houses several relics. Your guide will take you through the narrow streets of Siena, while delving into the history of the area and its numerous attractions. You will pass numerous medieval buildings on the way, and learn about the centuries-old traditions that are still followed in the city.
On your tour, you will reach the Piazza del Campo, the main public square of the city. The focal point of the square is the Palazzo Pubblico, or the town hall. A prime example of medieval architecture with some Gothic influences, the Palazzo Pubblico also features a bell tower, Torre del Mangia, which at one point was the tallest structure in all of Italy.
Finally, you will reach the highest point of the city, where the Siena Cathedral is located. Built in 1215, the cathedral’s facade is one of the most impressive in all of Italy. It combines elements from Classical, Romanesque, and French Gothic architecture and is a spectacular display of Sienese workmanship.
Please note that the order of the visits may change.
