Buying your ticket in advance saves you the hassle of hunting down a ticket counter and waiting in extra lines. Siena Cathedral is a true treasure trove of extraordinary art. We had the chance to admire the marble mosaic floors (which aren't always uncovered). Highlights include Michelangelo's marble masterpieces and the Piccolomini Library, covered in frescoes by Pinturicchio. On top of that, the combo ticket lets you visit the crypt and the baptistery. If you like, you can also explore masterpieces of Sienese painting from the 14th century onward in the adjacent museum and enjoy a spectacular view from the so-called "Facciatone"—an absolute must for photographers and enthusiasts alike.AAmie B
