Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect but this DMZ tour BLEW my mind. Our guide Jun was a former soldier (like for real!) and he shared stories that made the history so much more personal. The Third Tunnel was a little claustrophobic (ducked my head a few times lol) but sooo worth it. Standing at the Dora Observatory and peering into North Korea felt surreal. Lunch was just okay (bring snacks if ur picky) but the rest was top notch. Would do again in a heartbeat.

Went solo and honestly, felt a bit nervous at first but the group was super friendly. The weather was chilly so wear layers. The highlight for me was seeing the border from the observatory—it’s so close but feels like a different world. The tunnel’s a workout, not gonna lie. Guide was patient and answered all my weird questions. Only downside was the lines at the entrance, but worth it.

Took my two teens on this trip and it was EPIC! Our guide, Min, kept them entertained with wild stories about life along the border. The suspension bridge was a bit scary for me but my kids loved it (they kept bouncing, ugh). We couldn’t take photos in some spots but honestly, the memories are stuck in my brain forever. Lunch = meh, but the rest was unforgettable.

My partner and I did the private tour with Yuna and it was honestly one of the most moving experiences ever. We learned so much about the divided families and just seeing the fences and guard towers up close was a lot. Yuna even showed us a secret photo spot (shhh). Was cold and windy, but totally worth freezing a bit. Highly recommend!

Was expecting more from the food, tbh, but the guide (Soo) was super knowledgeable. The group was a bit big for my taste, felt rushed at some points. The tunnel is def NOT for tall people—almost banged my head like 20x. Still, hearing Soo’s stories made it worthwhile. Bring a jacket, it gets cold in the tunnel!
