The tour is well organized, well timed and the guide was knowledgable and her english was easy to understand. Opera house is really worth visiting even without a guide but with this lady it was memorable. We payed few euros aditionally for foto licence and it was good decision.

The tour of the Semperoper was very informative and revealed many new and interesting details to us. Our group didn't like that 4 tours were taking place at the same time and that the guides' explanations overlapped, especially in the auditorium. A bit of a shame for older visitors with hearing aids.

I had visitors from Lüneburg and planned something special... a steamboat trip fell through because the Elbe River was too low on water, so: off we went to our beautiful, magnificent Semperoper! The tour was very informative. We learned about the history of the building, its builder, the artists, composers, operas, and the restoration. The huge chandelier, which we were able to view from the box, was sensational... Next time we will attend a performance to see the versatile stage in action and to enjoy the varied program.

The guided tour truly came alive thanks to the extremely good lady who didn't bore us for a single minute. She was both knowledgeable and shared many little tips and anecdotes, but above all, she was highly motivated, with a lot of passion for art and the muse, and a great commitment to the Semper Opera, which seemed almost like a second living room to her. The tour was very interesting, filled with architectural details that were conveyed in an incredibly lively way. It was like a good lecture, which, however, always depends on the lecturer. The lady who guided us, Sabrina, turned many years of a building's history into 50 minutes that flew by.
