A very nice, engaging, and entertaining tour. Worth 5 stars. However, there should be 1–2 minutes set aside for taking photos from in front of the stage to the impressive auditorium. Some visitors weren't able to take any photos due to time constraints. That's why I'm giving it only 4 stars.

Our “guide” at the Semperoper was fantastic! Unfortunately, I’ve forgotten his name, but he helped with the reconstruction back then. You could really tell how much he enjoyed telling other people about the history of this beautiful opera house during the tour. It was absolutely, absolutely wonderful and something very special! The night watchman tour was also fantastic; we learned a lot about the history of the Zwinger and heard other interesting anecdotes. Here, too, it was lovely to see how much our night watchman was enjoying himself. All in all, a wonderful experience that was worth every penny.

We were treated to a wonderful tour today. Our guide was both highly knowledgeable and very clear in her explanations, and she helped us appreciate the fascination that this place exudes. I was particularly fascinated by her explanation of the cleverly designed and implemented acoustics from the very beginning of the theater’s construction, as well as the adjustable stage floor in the orchestra pit, which adapts to the specific performance and the orchestra’s lineup. Thank you for the wonderful insights we were granted.

It was a very interesting and impressive tour. It really is an incredibly amazing and beautiful building. A tour is definitely worth it. The lady who showed us around and explained everything was completely dedicated to her work. She knew how to share her knowledge of the Semperoper with us in a humorous and very engaging way. Ordering the tickets and accessing them on my phone went smoothly. The tour was interesting, with plenty of details, but not so much that it became overwhelming. The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and humorous. The building was absolutely impressive. There should have been some extra time for taking photos in the great hall. Highly recommended!

The tour was both informative and entertaining, and is ideal for people who like to explore on their own. The house is absolutely stunning, and our two children (ages 19 and 21) really enjoyed it too. Be sure to buy a photo pass. My husband took some great pictures with all his cameras.

Very interesting insights into the history of this magnificent building. I thought it was a bit excessive that we also had to buy a photography permit (3 euros), but oh well. Hopefully, the additional revenue will go toward the opera house’s preservation.

Hello, I really liked the tour guide. He works as a volunteer, but he was one of the architects commissioned to rebuild the Semperoper. That’s why his stories and detailed explanations were so fascinating and entertaining.
