The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. However, I think it would be better if the tours weren’t all held at the same time, but rather staggered—ideally by 10 to 15 minutes—so the different groups don’t get in each other’s way.

Our tour guide was an elderly gentleman who had personally worked as an architect on the reconstruction of the Semper Opera House. He shared interesting details and stories, particularly about the documents that guided the restoration of the frescoes, ceilings, interior design, and the repainting of the woodwork in the entrance area. His enthusiasm and obvious joy at showing us this beautiful building were palpable. The building is impressive and unique. We really enjoyed it.
