An extremely interesting tour with a palpable passion for art and history. Answers to all detailed questions were provided. An impressive house and architectural history. The ceiling paintings and elements with columns and gilding in Renaissance style are astonishing in their interplay. Each room has its own specific flair, message, and wow factor. Booking online was extremely easy and all the necessary details were forwarded. Arriving a few minutes before the recommended time a small queue had developed on the quayside. Fortunately the weather was quite pleasant for mid-December being neither too cold not wet. Boarding was handled swiftly and effectively, if a little later than the published time. There was plenty of inside seating and drinks and snacks were readily available, served by polite and professional staff. The hour and a half trip up the Elbe was quite gentle and revealed some interesting buildings on the shore. The only minor downside was that the commentary was very quiet which meant that much information was missed be it in German or English.

The crew on board were very attentive, friendly and careful. If there was anything that would have made our stay on board even more enjoyable, it would have been warm blankets to enjoy the last rays of sunshine of the year on deck. Many thanks for everything. We would love to come back.

We made our trip in the fall and were completely satisfied. The staff who served the drinks were particularly nice and attentive. The time frame of about an hour and a half was just right - not too short and not too long. Although it was a bit chilly, we were able to sit on the upper deck and enjoy the fresh air thanks to the blankets provided. The ship sailed calmly and leisurely, so you could take in the view at your leisure. A particular highlight was the sunset over Dresden and the Elbe meadows - a beautiful sight and a perfect end to the trip.

The tour guide spoke very quickly and gave the impression that she was just rattling off her script. €16 per person is too much, especially since you only get to see the public areas of the opera house, which you can see anyway when you visit the opera house.

Admission was somewhat disorganized, but the tour was excellent. Our guide, Astrid, led us through a small part of the opera house with a wealth of background knowledge. Overall, 45 minutes is far too short.
