Went with my wife for our anniversary (she’s a BIG Christmas fan) and honestly, didn’t think I’d get into it but the village is sooo charming. We stayed in a cottage—super warm inside, even though it was freezing outside! Staff wasn’t super chatty but always polite. The breakfast was just okay, bit basic, but the reindeer ride made up for it. Didn’t see the northern lights, sadly… maybe next time.

This place is straight from a Christmas movie!! I took my two little monsters (8 and 11) and they lost their MINDS meeting Santa. The cottage was spotless and the sauna was HOT, which was needed after snowball fights. We did the husky ride—def worth the extra euros. It was a bit crowded at breakfast, but honestly, who cares when you’re in the Arctic Circle? Highly recommend for families.

Couldn’t believe my eyes when we woke up to snow covering everything. Came with my partner and we both felt like kids again. The cottage had twinkly lights, and I swear the air just smelled like cinnamon. The staff helped us book a snowmobile tour last min. If you get a chance, do the sauna—SO RELAXING after a day out.

SO MAGICAL! We are a family of four and had the best time. The kids loved meeting Santa (he talks to them sooo kindly). Our cottage had its own tiny Christmas tree. Breakfast was yummy with lots of Finnish stuff. Definitely bring big boots, the snow is deep! Will come again.

Stayed in October and got lucky with the northern lights! Our cottage was right on the edge of the village, so we could see the sky. Sauna was HOT, and there’s heated floors (my feet were grateful). Easy check-in, and staff gave us tips on where to eat. Loved it.
