It was the second time we have been to Intrepid and again it did not disappoint. Coupled with Fleet Week and all the associated stands, our time there passed too quickly. Although the weather was not too great, rain after all the sunshine, there was plenty to do inside the ship. It was wonderful to see the tall ships along the quayside. Everybody was so friendly.

Am vizitat muzeul împreună cu 3 copii cu vârste cuprinse între 5 și 10 ani, în timpul Săptămânii Copiilor la Muzeul Intrepid. La început nu erau prea siguri, dar până la urmă le-a plăcut foarte mult! Faptul că au putut vedea avioane și elicoptere reale (și chiar să se urce într-unul!) i-a ajutat să înțeleagă cât de IMENS trebuia să fie vasul pentru a putea găzdui toate aeronavele, precum și toate persoanele care se ocupau de funcționarea vasului. Am urcat și am explorat toate nivelurile disponibile, pentru a vedea cum era viața la bord. Personalul era disponibil pentru informații și indicații, pe lângă harta (disponibilă în mai multe limbi). Activitățile Săptămânii Copiilor au oferit ceva de făcut pentru toată lumea și au adus o schimbare de ritm pentru toți, din când în când, pe parcursul zilei. Am stat mult mai mult decât ne-am așteptat, deoarece erau atât de multe de văzut și de făcut, și toți am plecat acasă obosiți și fericiți.

Headout e grozav! Interfața e foarte ușor de folosit, iar reducerile m-au ajutat să economisesc niște bani. Ce mi-aș mai putea dori? În plus, acum pot explora mai mult pe baza sugestiilor de la Headout. Îmi place la nebunie.

Turul ne-a purtat într-o călătorie în trecut. A fost foarte interesant și plăcut să urcăm scările către diferite niveluri și să admirăm instalațiile atât de bine întreținute. Sunt convinsă că voi reveni împreună cu prietenii.

Safety is a priority so access to the Growler is restricted for guests under the height of 1m (3.28ft).

This experience is mostly wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. However, the submarine, gun tubs, anchor chain room, captain's bridge, and Concorde are not accessible.

Trigger warning: Areas inside the Growler are narrow and may not be suitable for visitors with claustrophobia.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.
