Vaporetto ACTV Water Bus & Mainland Bus Pass: 1 to 7 Days

It allowed us to travel around Venice and the islands without any hassle. My mum was with us and she's not as mobile as she was so it was so useful to just hop on a water bus from wherever we were. We didn't go kn the mainland but being able to use it as a bus pass is excellent. What a useful pass.

Très facile de le réserver en avance. Avec le QR code sur la facture, on va à une une borne ACTV à l'aéroport ou en ville et le Pass tombe. Indispensable pour utiliser les vaporeto et reposer les jambes. Attention le Pass ne permet pas d'aller à l'aéroport mais on peut aller à Murano, Burano etc.

Door het bezoek van de paus was tot 14u maar een beperkt deel van het Canal Grande bevaarbaar. Dit had op voorhand beter gecommuniceerd moeten worden.

i couldnt get the ticket to load when i was just before entering the musuem @ venice. - suggest to update the email to send ticket in PDF form , rather than a link to a website - meseum pass ?i dont know if it can be use to enter other museum or not

Excellent value for money. Straight forward to book. Really benefitted from the water bus as it was unfortunately raining whilst we were in Venice.

Getting from one destination to the next without getting lost. Riding along the canal edge. Seeing San Michele and back to the Arsenale, etc.

The boats are on time, very easy to get on and off, they go everywhere. It is also wonderful to see the city from the canal.

The ACTV water bus company has a well-organized and comprehensive network of routes in and around Venice, which operates at short intervals during the day and also at night. We were satisfied throughout.

Everything was super-simple and easy to use! It accompanied our stay in Venice very well and we were able to travel from one place to another without any problems.

We loved how often the boats came and how simple the whole system was...we spent our days jumping off and on boats not worrying about buying a ticket each time.

the printout of your order is not the pass itself. You will need to generate the actual pass (credit card size) by going to a machine at one of the Vaparetto stations and enter the unique code mentioned in your order.

Once validated, it was fine, but it requires a machine and I think it would help if you could provide a map, or a list by sestiere of where the machines are. I bought these on my phone and at first assumed the QR code would be the ticket, but obviously not the case. I wish they had a machine at every vaporetto stop...this would have made it much easer to validate.

We did some vaporetto trips with the 24 hour ticket e.g. to the Lido to Murano and the Canale Grande! Found great restaurants and visited some exhibition spaces in the city!

The water buses were crowded and at first a little unsettling for someone in Venice for the first time. The routes and schedules were also initially confusing, but we quickly figured it out. The staff that we interacted with were all pleasant and efficient.

I liked the seats and the punktuality. I had been looking forwards to a cup of tea on my way back but was not offeret one as on the way out. But I did not read op if that was or was not included on this specific trip.

The two-day pass was very practical, and we made the most of it. We were able to get around Venice easily, as well as Burano and Murano :)

Because I had booked the ticket in advance, I got the 7-day ticket simply by typing in the code at the machine (where you can choose your native language). This gave me free travel throughout Venice and the surrounding islands. A feeling of freedom!

Voucher for ATCV (vaporetto) vouchers. Can be easily exchanged for ATCV tickets without queuing at the airport. The very best and cheapest way to explore Venice. Please note: We have experienced ticket checks on the vaporetto ourselves. So always have your tickets with you!
