Although the line was long, they were very efficient and moved quickly, they had fans with water misters to cool everybody down. Security was also super efficient. The overall experience of looking around and learning about the history was such a cool experience especially after the long travel from Australia! Would definitely recommend if your into historical sites and awesome Roman history.

The tickets were sent to us by email immediately after booking. We were able to enter the Colosseum on time for our booked time slot, and despite the large number of visitors, it didn't seem overcrowded. However, it was a little disappointing that there were no audio guides - although an additional €5 was charged for this. Too bad, because a ticket cost €26.90 in total

The audio guide had unclear connections between location and guide...then were thrown out of the museum (at 10am?!) Forum Romanum and Palatine Hill I would have liked a big sign at the entrance! To the Exit in the Colosseum was complicated to walk back and forth. Barriers....Audioguide was in German and my Spanish friend couldn't switch it...

The fact of having your ticket cut in line, the set time and the row to follow. I highly recommend buying a ticket from headout, which also gives you plenty of warning one hour before the attraction, so you don't forget. It's true that there are different sites with different prices offering tickets for different attractions, but headout remains a reliable site.

The Colosseum is impressively large and full of history - absolutely worth seeing. The Roman Forum right next to it is huge and exciting if you take your time and know a little about the ruins. Tip: bring water and comfortable shoes, it's best to arrive early or late. A real highlight in Rome!

They sent me a link to make a reservation and I wanted a guide at the same time as some friends. In the end the guide was nice to me but according to her I had booked a standard without a guide and only for the colosseum. I found it very confusing. She told me that my companions did it through an agency and I understand that it is the same. They tell me that I bought it directly on the colosseum website. In the end I had to buy the entrance to the colosseum again because when I arrived I had already passed my access time. I also don't understand the difference between guide and audio guide. The difference is not made clear at the time of booking.

I highly recommend you visit the Colliseum, Forum and Palatine, but as far as the prison is concerned, it's a rip-off. There's little or nothing to visit, as the tour lasts 15 minutes at most. I wouldn't recommend it at all. The queue at the end of the afternoon goes quickly, but it's true that at no time was I told that visits end around 6.30pm, so don't waste time. The price is still excessive for a family in the summer, and that's a shame.

The directions to access were not clear at all, we put in Google Maps the directions they gave us and when we got to the door, we queued up and they told us it was not there. We ended up going all the way around the Colosseum looking for the entrance and were bounced from one gate to another.

When we arrived at the colisee, the entrance was on the right, not the left... we lost a lot of time. When entering the forum, there was no indication of which line to take as individuals. We had to squeeze in on the right to avoid being with the groups and being turned away.

Visited 12 years ago, had more movement at ground level, now only certain areas for viewing and photo opportunities. Upper level able to walk the most of the circle area. This is not the fault of Head out. Same controls in place who ever you book with. Palentine Hill and Forum still able to do in you own time, and this time visited on the second day as the ticket allowed us to do so, but have to visit Colosseum on the date requested by us. This was not a guided tour, and all was perfect with the purchase via Head out.

Incredible the colosseum inside, and if you have some notion of what you're seeing incredible the palatine, the audio guides to be by Qr, depend on the telephone company, in my case painful experience, better in other attractions to be physical.

The booking was uncomplicated and quick. We were quickly on site at the Colosseum. The entrance for ticket holders was easy to find. Only the audio guide was rather mediocre to use. The interaction between the location and the guide was poor. If you leave the app, you have to search for the location again. That works better. We would not book the audio guide again. Bus broke down, which led to us arriving late & they would not honor the tickets as we were more thabks half an hour late, not due to any fault of our own. Nothing against you guys.

No such thing as no lines, And it didn't matter how early you booked there were lines. So just say expect to wait in line

We liked the Colosseum, but unfortunately Rome is totally congested and overcrowded, so it can be very tiring to get around. You should also pay attention to the temperature as it gets very stuffy from 27 degrees in the city. We will definitely be back but not in summer ;)
