Loved our guide
Not sure about Headout : would like to find an agency that provides a reminder. We booked so far in advance. Not their fault but we missed our Notre Dame/Citi/seine tour and Orsay tour because we were only slightly late not through our fault and they would not consider a refund or voucher for future tour.

Our guide Bo was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and also very good at maneuvering us through the crowds and settling us in an open spot. The palace was gorgeous.

The private tour was good and worth the money. However you could not visit any where else apart from the house. I had to pay again to visit the garden, wifi signal was poor and took over 40mins to do, the queues were huge. Also had to pay extra to visit the other areas of Versailles, however the ticket I bought did not say that. I would appreciate if you would clearly state what is and what isn't included in the ticket. As I could have downloaded the tickets I needed prior to my visit and saved alot of hassel and queuing.

It was very well organised and explained. I booked my ticket online and found my guide easily and on time.The guide was very informative. Booking my Versailles ticket in advance was very straightforward. I was so glad I did it as fellow travellers arriving on the day we're unable to book tickets for the Palace of Versailles as all the tours were fully booked. I wou,d certainly use the company again on any future trips.

The audio guide was not available at first. Our guide took 45 min to get this sorted out.
In addition, there were problems with other people's tickets (no ticket booked for the children).
As a result, we were only able to enter the Palace 1h30-2h later than planned.

Our guide was super interesting and pleasant. A real historian. Pleasant, approachable person. However, please understand that if you take a ticket at 1:30 pm, you can't go back before that time to visit the gardens or anything else... Our only downside was that we couldn't visit the opera house because of a concert scheduled for the evening. In short, the information was of a high quality, with the minor disappointment that the tour was not complete. If you don't have a full day at Versailles, take a guided tour to avoid the crowds.

Very good description of the meeting point.
But: Please send a message to the Palace of Versailles that too many people are being let in. It was terribly cramped. A pushing and shoving. I often couldn't see anything and couldn't breathe.

The Garden was beautiful.
We arrived late due to a train issue and missed our tour. Headout made us buy an additional ticket x 2 to join the next group. That group had plenty of space so we felt they took advantage of our situation. It would have been more customer friendly to just add us to the next available group. The tour inside Versailles was ok but the space was so crowded and noisy, it was difficult to hear, even with the earbuds. Also, there was very little time allowed to just hang out and observe the spaces. We felt rushed.

It was a wonderful experience, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the palace and I would not have had the same amazing experience had I toured the palace on my own.
