All staff were very friendly. They had to contact us before due to the Vatican closing for a special service. They rearranged this well. The express tour gave us all the information we needed. It was great that the tour provided direct access & we didn't have to queue to get into the Vatican. Once the tour was over you could stay inside for as long as you wanted.

We had booked a tour in French and on the day of the tour, we discovered that the tour would be in English. We weren't warned, but as the French group wasn't large enough, we were switched to the English group. The problem was that we didn't speak English, so we only spent 10 minutes of the two-hour tour we'd originally planned. So we paid for nothing, as we did the tour ourselves.

We were told to arrive 15mins beforehand, we did exactly that. Our guide decided to meet 45mins beforehand. My phone does not work outside of wifi, so I could not be contacted. When I eventually found the guide, she was rude, dismissive and treated me very poorly. She blamed me for being late when we arrived on time as instructed. She then refused to allow us to go on the next tour. I have never been treated so poorly before. This was a special trip and to see the business ethics on display in such a holy place was disgusting. You did not give us our tour because you changed the time at the last minute. That is not fair and as far as I am concerned, you stole our money based on your behaviour.

Please stop misleading people. There was no 'skip the lines' even though that's how you advertised it. The tour was supposed to start at 8:20am and was supposed to last an hour yet we spent nearly all of that lining up just to get inside through security. I had limited time as I needed to catch a flight home and in the end didn't even do the tour because I wanted to go through the holy door. I thought I would be skipping the line but that wasn't the case and we were lied to. It's misleading and completely nisold. If I wanted to line up I would not have even paid for a tour.

The crowd was too much and there was no separate queue for visitors with tickets. The guide was helpless and suggested that we would not be able to make it inside. Despite we arrived earlier then it was mentioned. The staff arrived after 20 minutes of the meeting time and started the event 10 minutes later. We were expecting to have skip the line entrance but No one informed us that it will take not less than 1,5 hours at least to get the entrance. So, considering our time limitations after 1 hour of waiting in the queue without even approaching to the entrance we left the place without attending Basilica. The worst experience with paying for nothing. Very disappointed. Will never use your services again.

We ran into unexpected traffic delays and even when giving adequate time to reach the meeting place the guide was unable to wait more than 3 minutes longer. The crowds were heavy on this day because the Basilica was closed the day before when we went. We then booked a skip the line ticket on site for 25€ each (another 75€) and after a couple hours going through this process we were almost into the Basilica and the Pope called mass. We had no chance to get in before our travel home early today.

We were given an address for a meeting point, but that was a restaurant. The meeting place ended up a staircase betwteen 99 & 100. Sadly, nobody was there to inform or guide us. Luckily, someone from another tour group told us where to go and when to get in line. You totally let us down.

Good, a little disorganized and a lot of wasted time. But it was good. I went off on my own to explore, because the history can be googled or read in the library, most people already read and heard, then come to SEE it . Tour guide needs to focus on getting people inside, taking them to various biblical status, and areas, for pictures. This is not a history class, we only had 1-2hrs , but our tour guide spent 40 mins telling us stories and history outside and on the door way, While I applaud her of her knowledge, however this is not a history class, 6 of us had other tours scheduled right afterwards, so we left the tour midway to explore the Basilica on our own, including the Tomb areas underneath.

It was easy purchasing a ticket The experience with the guide is amazing. We were stuck for almost 1 hour and just standing on the line because the St. Peter's Basilica security service or management blocked the way and they forgot to let us in so we shouted at them for letting us not inside while the other side of the visitors continue to go inside. The guide on our tour was WONDERFUL and this review has nothing to do with him. Our tour was supposed to include breakfast (I spoke to an agent on support who confirmed this) There was no mention made of this when we got there, tour was at 8:00 and was moved to 8:15. We got there super early, there was no one to even talk too before the ticketing booth was open and at that point we were hearded out like cattle and the tour started at least 30 minutes late. Naturally we were hungry assuming they'd stop at some point, but no. Never happened. We asked the tour guide about it but unfortunately he knew nothing of it. It wasn't his fault at all and I don't blame him I blame the company. It was supposed to be an hour tour that turned into 2 1/2 hours. Tour was great but we were definitely hungry the whole time. I don't think breakfast should be advertised with the tour if you're not going to offer it. I also believe the length of the tour should be as advertised and that the tour should not start late if you're going to be so adamant in your emails that the tourist not be late.

It was confusing as to where we were supposed to meet our guide. We followed the instructions but a security guard would not let us go to where we were supposed to go. That uniformed person sent us back out to where they were some concessions and large red umbrella. Someone from your company did come and find us. We had to rush about to catch up with the tour. Also the sign that the guide held was not the same name as what we expected (Head Out.) Even if we were able to get to where we were supposed to meet, we would not have recognised our guide.

When we got there the venue was temporarily closed due to the amunt of visitors, this meant that once we got inside I just felt like the tour was very rushed, so that the tour guides could get onto the next group and catch up. The tour was very interesting and informative despite unforeseen problems - the cathedral was not accessible at the scheduled time, it is Jubilee Year and there are more pilgrims than usual in the city, which delayed the visit considerably. The experience was good in general, but it took much longer than expected and since we had tickets for the Vatican Museums by appointment, we didn't have a smooth experience. We wanted to go through the Holy Doors and due to a disorganization in the visit, we were unable to appreciate this moment during the guided tour. We did go through it later, but we felt that it somewhat disappointed our expectations. Disappointing experience: the official appointment was at 7.50 a.m. for an 8.20 a.m. visit to the basilica... in reality, groups couldn't get in before 9.30 a.m., so we had to wait a long time in St. Peter's square, then visit the cellars (as groups couldn't enter through the holy door). We found ourselves in the basilica at 10.30am, in a compact crowd, whereas between 7am and 9am there's hardly anyone in the basilica. We didn't get to see the Pieta (although those who enter through the holy door can see it individually). The guide recited his text at breakneck speed, using Italian, English and French words... it was difficult to understand and he didn't try to captivate his audience. We returned the next day to visit the basilica individually at 8am... and it was a thousand times better!

İn the email it was written that we should be there 30 minutes beforehand. However, the local partner only opened the doors at the booked time so we had to wait 40 minutes. With the many bookings there was also just confusion and no structure in the processing of the guests. The guys were poorly prepared and slow. 2 doors, 2 queues to then queue up again for the other queue, because one takes care of the participants with one language and the other takes care of the other languages. Should also be better communicated The tour was ok, lengthy but we were glad that we were able to enter the cathedral at all after the Pope's death. For my part, I will no longer book anything connected with this organizer.

A heavenly experience with exceptional service Our visit to St. Peter's Basilica in Rome was an absolute highlight of our trip. Unfortunately, due to the challenges with public transportation and the hectic traffic in Rome, we arrived a little later than planned. We were worried we would miss the tour, but the team on site were incredibly friendly and understanding - they actually waited for us, which we really appreciated. St. Peter's Basilica itself is breathtaking. The sheer size and magnificence of the basilica are hard to put into words. Here is a strongly worded review expressing your dissatisfaction with the experience: Terrible Experience – No Guide, No Help, Want Full Refund! I had an absolutely awful experience with this tour. The instructions on where to meet the guide were completely incorrect. We arrived at the designated meeting point at the stairs, as stated in the confirmation, but there was NO guide waiting for us. We searched, waited, and even asked around, but no one from the tour was there. We tried to reach out for help, but there was no proper assistance or clear direction on what to do. We paid €96 for this, only to be left stranded and frustrated. This was a complete waste of time and money. If you can’t even provide clear meeting instructions or have someone present at the location, why are you selling these tours? I demand a FULL REFUND immediately. As the hour passed, we were offered either to wait until 12:00 to join a new group, or to be reimbursed. Unable to wait, we opted for a refund. We loved nothing because rhre was no tour. We showed up, you didn't. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. Apparently no shows by Headout are not unusual. On arrival I hour before,the tour, as instructed, following ten minutes to get through security the tour was nowhere to.be seen. No headout banner, no one in the indicated place and none of the staff or volunteers had ever heard of Headout. Inside the Basilica, which is free to get in anyway, none of the groups were lead by someone with a readout flag. We feel we have been scammed and if you do exist you should do the decent thing an fully refund us.

With these tickets we were supposed to enter the Básilica and the chapel of the dads. It would last about 45 minutes. However at no point do they tell you that you have to wait in line to go through a security check. The entrance was at 11, and we started at 11:30. We waited half an hour for another group of people and the guide to arrive at the Vatican square. Once they arrived, the guide started to explain the statues and the square. This explanation lasted about 15 minutes. In the meantime more and more people kept entering the queue.... We were already 45 minutes late.... We all thought that we were going to advance the whole queue (since it was a group entrance) that had been forming from 11 to almost 12. Once the guide finishes with the initial explanation, he tells us that we have to go through the control and that we have to wait in line... A queue that lasted 2 hours and a half... We passed the control at 14:40. Obviously this annoyed us a lot. But what annoyed us the most was when we arrived at the door of the crypt of the Popes and the guide told us, WITH HIS FUCKING BAD ASS, that he had to get the entrance tickets... It seems to me VERY UNPROFESSIONAL on the part of a company that you hire a service and then they lie to you and laugh at the client in their own face.

The Basilica is superb, even if part of it is being restored. A guided tour is a plus. However, you should be aware that there is a standing line that runs slowly around St. Peter's Square (duration 1h30). With or without guide. No ticket-cutting possible.

We had to wait in line for about 45 minutes before we were inside but Stefano filled that up completely with history of the Basilica. The time passed in no time. Furthermore, he showed us around and told us all at once, he knows a lot about it! A whole lot wiser we walked out again. A great experience for us!

We queued with our guide for nearly 2 hrs to get through security and to be fair he did his best to give us information. However once inside the basilica he gave us a very short overview of what to see and left as he had another tour to do. We paid to have guided tour of the basilica which we didn’t get, our guide should have called the office to let you know the situation and stayed with us. There was confusion as to where to meet the guide. The ticket said to meet at the front of the basilica but when we approached one of the line ushers they said everyone has to get in the line and entry to the basilica was free. We booked "skip the line tickets for St. Peter's Basilica" and nowhere were we told that we could not skip the line, nor that the entrance was free in all cases, nor that an hour and a quarter was not enough time to pass the access control. I bought the tickets on a link from the Headout website on how to avoid queues. The experience was said to last 1 hour. The guide laughed and said "After 1 hour we'll still be in the queue. The queue could last 2 hours". He offered a refund. I went to the office and was told that the refund would be provided by Headout. You can not make the visit, because the meeting point is the entrance to the basilica. You can not access the meeting point without doing the normal queue of people who do not have entrda. I was 1 hour and something to make the queue, it says that you are before 40 minutes, as I was late, because it is impossible to enter before, they left without me. The tour started at 10:30 and we were at St. Peter's at 9:40, but the meeting point was inside the basilica and the queue lasted 90 minutes. I contacted customer service and was told that there would be another tour at 12.00. We waited but no one came, the assistant did not give us the name or phone number of the guide either. The basilica staff took care of all of us who had this happen to us as best they could and I am grateful to them. A disaster of coordination and I will not hire anything with you again. It was not made clear on the meeting instructions that we would have to line up with the 100s of others waiting in line to enter St Peter's Basilica, we thought as we had a tour booked we could line up somewhere else, it made the experience stressful as we didn't know if we would make the tour in time. We ended up having to run to the ticket booth to retrieve our tickets . We also wasted precious time as the google map co ordinates were taking us to a secured area with no access. It was a total disaster! The guide's directions were inaccurate and incorrect! They said that it would be enough to be 40/30 minutes early at the place indicated on the ticket map, which seemed to be outside the Basilica's entrance area, as would make sense, even in comparison with other companies providing the same services. To our astonishment, it turned out to be inside the Basilica and the queue was estimated to last 1.5 hours(!!?). This visit was supposed to be the big present for my husband for his 75th birthday. We were at the square about 1 1/2 hours beforehand, where there were already 1-2000 people standing in an uncertain queue, the end of which was impossible to find. There was no one to give us information (a friendly policeman tried, for nothing). We didn't know where to go or how to get to the meeting point. The men under the small tent at the front said we had to queue and then we would get in. The sun was getting hotter and hotter and in the end my husband refused to try to get into the cathedral any further. We are intelligent, educated people with common sense and perhaps too polite to push our way in. I was in tears. Please give better information (waiting in line? Fighting your way to the front (where?) past others? ) The money is thrown away. It would have been nice to start our vacation the way it was planned. Fortunately, the rest of our stay in Rome turned out to be positive. We probably won't see St. Peter's Cathedral again in our lifetime. What a pity.

I clearly didn't read the fine print well enough - but be warned that their tour time doesn't include the time you will need to wait in queues & won't help you skip the line. On the other hand, the organization was extremely complicated: we arrived 30 minutes early as requested (so you need to allow time for security checks before arriving at the meeting point), but at the ticket office we were asked to be patient for 20 minutes, and then we were assigned a guide. The principle was strange: we were expecting a group tour, and didn't really know where to turn. That's the only negative point.

This is one of the first times I've used a guided tour instead of viewing on my own and it was exemplary. Learning the small anecdotes and history from a knowledgeable guide made the experience in the Vatican even more memorable. Only issue was that the directions on where to meet the guide wasn't fully complete in that you needed to check in at the desk near the meeting point so we waited awhile before asking a guard and they pointed us in the right direction. We came during off season and the line through security took about 35 minutes so make sure to give yourself time and maybe bring an umbrella as I was unfortunately pooped on by one of the seagulls in the square... Could not stop laughing as we were just saying how terrible it would be if someone did get pooped on while waiting. Oh well, I guess I was christened by the Vatican seagulls before entering. Overall wonderful experience and our guide was superb in every aspect. Do not pass up the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Basillica from an expert!

The visit was exceptional because it is a marvel of a basilica, it is a museum in itself. But we were also very lucky that our guide was Father Emmanuel, which is not usual, and he explained everything very well. The visit was very enjoyable and interesting and our guide was very charming. On the other hand, it was chaotic to get to the basilica. We thought that with the reservation of the guide it was not necessary to queue but everyone has to queue for the 2 hours at the security checkpoint, and this should be announced. On the other hand we asked the security people and they even told us that it was not possible that we had booked a tour with a guide since that service was not offered, that only audio guides were offered in the basilica. So much so that we were on the verge of not entering. On the other hand, it is indicated that you have to go to the guided tour desk and that does not exist as such. You have to go to the counter where they hand out the audio guides, and there was no identification of the guided tour company. In the end we made it through the security checkpoint line and were able to get to our guided tour and it was well worth it.

The tour started at 8:20 and we were asked to be half an hour earlier at the "agency" to meet the guide, pick up the headphones and all that. So we were all in a hurry, trying to take the subway or bus to get there (it's far from the center of Rome) and it turns out they didn't open until 8:25 ... more than half an hour waiting outside! The tour started almost at 9... and there is a long line (in the sunshine) to enter the Vatican so between that and the fact that the tour did not start on time, some people had to leave before the tour ended because they had reservations elsewhere so be patient. Why this is not a 5 is because we booked what we thought was an hour tour, starting at 2 and 2 hours later we still were not inside the basilica or the tombs and had to rush to get to see anything as we had to be at a museum times entrance at 4:30. At first I was a little surprised that we would have to wait in line to get in but as Vladimir was talking while in line I realized the outside is just as much part of the tour as the inside. It was around an hour in line but he helped time go by quickly. Once inside, another 40 minutes flew by. My only suggestion is the length of the tour in the description be updated to "up to 2 hours or more depending on number of visitor" not just "1 hour".

Please meet Sandro at the top of the stair case outside cafe Vaticano, viale Vaticano 100 at 9:40 for the 09:45 Vatican tour in French, If you have any problems finding your guide please don't hesitate to contact me. All the best Chiara" Sandro was unprofessional, he did not accompany us at all. Having already been to the Vatican, I know that he didn't follow the entire route, but cut us off to go straight to the Sistine Chapel, where he told us to stay for only 10 minutes. On the other hand, he sent us alone to visit the Pope's cars with the only instruction: to pick him up at the exit. I won't be booking with you again. It's a tourist scam. The tour lasted 2 hours instead of 3. Well, there were only 5 of us, a couple with their child and us. He had this despicable phrase "hey, I'm not a fan, I'm not going to turn my head, get closer when I talk to you!"

In the tour note it was noted that 1 hour waiting in the line is expected, thankfully we went much earlier and got in line.. huuuge waiting.. probably 2 hours. Anyways, we got through security on time and met our guide. We were only 4 in the group hence it was advised that no headsets would be needed to hear her during the tour. however, due to the crowds in the basilica it was too difficult to hear her and follow the story.. so feedback overall: update your notices to advise people to go much earlier to queue as there's only one line.. not a different one because you are booking a guided tour.. and secondly, guided tours SHOULD be with headsets irrespective of the number of people joining the tour. When inside the basilica, it is too difficult to hear the voice of the guide without headset.

Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a pity we didn't start on time as the queues for the elevator were lengthy after queuing already for security. We took the stairs in any case. We were advised to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time... why? No one from the organisation met us until 20 minutes later. Our tour of the basilica was consequently very rushed. Inside St Peter's is ridiculously crowded with large tour groups. I would not recommend. Some limitation / timing of entry would make it a better quality experience. . We visited late October.

Buongiorno, we were tired from a trip the days before and with younger children unable to make it that morning, We did go back to the Vatican later in the week in the afternoon and had to wait only 90" to get through security. I undertand we would have had to do the same to join the tour with you all? I neglected to cancel as i thought we might make it and have no problem consiering the payment as a donation. If in the future i would still have to await for security before the tour, I believe I would take another "skip the line" type tour. All in all e stata una bella esperienza. Te explican dónde debes reunirte con el guía, en nuestro caso no los conseguíamos ver de la gente que había y nos llamaron al móvil para decirnos donde estaban y buscarnos. La guía nos explicó todo genial, resolvió dudas y se le entendía perfectamente, lo único que hubiese estado mejor que nos hubiese dado más tiempo para hacer fotos y vídeos, ya que una vez sales ya no puedes volver a entrar. Lo único es que hay muchísima gente por todos sitios y puede llegar a agobiar, pero aún así hay que ir.

St Peter's Bascilica small group tour was wonderful. We took the elevator to the first rooftop, then climbed the 280 steps to the dome. At the first level we were inside close to the ceiling and at the top we went outside where all of Rome was visible. Back down to the main church, the tour guide was very informative detailing the floors and frescos. The downside we went on a Monday which is the most crowded day. If you have a choice try to pick another day. Overall this was a great tour highly recommend it.

It was good, however we missed our next tour because it said this tour was 1hr but ended up being like 3 hrs. The guide was also 30 min late after our start time. Even if we wanted to leave, to get to Our next tour we couldn't. By the time we started our tour of the Vatican because the guide was late, the security line to get in added another 25-30 min and by the time we got to the front of the Vatican we were in another line to go to the dome (didn't know we were going to the top) I believe that should be at least added to the comments of the tour. Many people were a little in easy (older group). Although we enjoyed our tour, because it wasn't organized throughly we missed our next tour also booked through Headout.

The meeting point is located inside the basilica. This ticket does not skip any of the security lines, so allow time to queue and enter. An otherwise great tour. We were late due to the security queues but the man at the counter kindly guided us to our group who had already entered the main basilica after the atrium. Meeting point is located at desks on the right side of the open air space on going up the stairs. We found this a little difficult to find.

Nabil was the perfect tour guide. One of the guests had hearing aids and difficulty hear in large spaces. Nabil made sure the gentleman could be close enough to hear the tour. There was some confusion as to where to check in for the tour. And you must stand in the security line to reach the check in area. The security line can take at least an hour.

Der Sankt Pertersdom ist 1 Highlight. Ich hatte eine Führung auf Italienisch mit Sara und da ich alleine in der "Gruppe" am Samstag Nachmittag war, könnte ich viele Fragen stellen und sie hat hat für mich langsamer gesprochen. Die Gruppen auf Deutsch waren ziemlich groß im Vergleich. Mit Sara war es für mich wie ein Rundgang mit einer Freundin, die sich mit Kunst sehr gut auskennt. Was mir nicht gefiel, ist dass es am Eingang auf dem Platz nicht klar geschrieben war, dass der Terffpunkt für Gruppen nach der Sicherheitskontrolle ist. Ich habe Google map gefolgt und konnte zuerst den Treffpunkt nicht finden. Ein Polizist hat mich dann informiert. Wegen der langen Schlangen hätte ich beinahe den Termin verpasst. Ich war 1,5 Stunden vorher da. Ich würde 2 Stunden vorher mindestens planen. In der email von Headout hatte ich "30 Minuten vorher da sein" gelesen. Es ist ohne die Sicherheitskontrolle.

The actual tour was great. I only booked it the morning of the tour, but it took hours to receive the email confirmation on my phone, so I did not see that you mentioned to come 30-60 minutes before the tour. It was not clear that we needed to stand in that extremely long security line before getting us into the area to meet the tour guide. Luckily, I was able to call the US number to ask them to move our tour back an hour. Then the next tour left 25 minutes late, so we were really late. The directions should say that you need to check in at the information desk near the Holy door inside the building.

The instructions of exactly where to meet our tour could have been clearer. "Across from the Holy Door" is difficult if one does not know what the Holy Door is. Also, the directions could say to go through security before trying to find the tour. Because of our confusion, we were a few minutes late but Headout graciously accommodated us on the next tour. Our guide was knowledgeable although sometimes her accent was slightly difficult to understand. When visiting the Vatican, I would strongly recommend using this company because they offer many tours only a few minutes apart so if you are late, you won't be disappointed. We scheduled an early am tour. By the time we were finished, the security line was almost completely around St Peters colonnade. Plan accordingly!

It wasn't clear that you needed to join the extremely long queue to get through security before you meet the guide at the Holy Door. Once through security we still needed to ask where exactly the Holy Door was. Our instructions then told us to wait for our Vox Mundi guide who would be wearing a blue vest with that logo. In fact we had to ask at the information desk inside the atrium who checked our reservation and gave us yellow stickers and told us to wait outside for our guide who had a yellow flag. In the end it worked out fine the guide was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. It just took us a bit longer than we thought to link up and luckily we had given ourselves sufficient times.

Entry to the the Vatican Museum and Sistine chapel was excellent for skipping the line, however entry to St Peter’s Basilica Tour was extremely confusing. The instructions didn't read correctly that we still still had to queue for the security checks before entering and the time required was hard to gauge. Upon meeting the tour operator, we were informed that the tour wouldn't be via an audio guide and that instead we had to follow a guide around, in a very crowded location. With this, we opted to not join the tour and visited St Peter’s Basilica on our own. I would not recommend this as in all honesty it is a waste of money and not as advertised. The meeting point instructions also for St Peter’s Basilica Tour need to be updated!

There was some confusion about the meeting point. Since this was my first time visiting St Peters Basilica, I didn't know where was the area described as "opposite the holy door" as the meeting point until later, when I learned it from the tour guide. The tour itself was very nice, no complaints about that. But the arrival and finding the tour guide was confusing and stressing. The info email said that the meeting point is Atrium of the Basilica, which was clear. However, "Look for the guide wearing a blue vest with Vox Mundi logo printed on it" was not correct. We stood there looking for a guide wearing a blue vest and didn't see anyone. Quite last minute we asled the audio guide infopoint if they knew how it works and then it turned out thay we need to actually show the tickets to them and then get the sticker with right colour and wait for tje guide (who was still not wearing a blue vest but a blue bag. We were on time so everything worked out but you could really update the email your customers get after making the reservation. The instruction we got was to wait and look for the guide in blue vest, when in reality your customers need to show their tickets to the infodesk there and get the stickers.

Sarebbe stato molto utile usufruire del saltafila anche per raggiungere il punto di raccolta della visita guidata a San Pietro. Soltanto al momento di accedere mi è stato spiegato che la vostra offerta non prevede questa agevolazione e sono stato quindi costretto a fare la fila dall'inizio del colonnato con annesso ritardo all'appuntamento. Sarebbe meglio che il tutto venisse spiegato al momento della prenotazione.

Vous indiquez dans le mail de réception qu'il faut être présent au point de rendez-vous une demi-heure avant le début de la visite. Il aurait été souhaitable de préciser dans le mail que vous nous avez adressé qu'il fallait près d'une heure pour accéder aux services de sécurité pour entrer dans la basilique. Cela éviterait de se présenter en retard et de manquer le début de la visite. Nous ignorions que cela nous prendrait autant de temps, précisez le s'il vous plaît !!! La viste en elle même était très intéressante, notre guide Nabil était très agréable et à l'écoute.

The tour of St Peter's Basilica was great. But locating the guide at the Basilica was difficult as the directions to find them were a bit unclear. And the guide for entry into the Vatican Museum traveled very quickly in an area with tons of people so several of us had a hard time keeping track of him. Also the value of the "skip the line" was limited since we got no information from the guide other than to walk us to a shorter line that really wasn't any shorter than the line with other people who bought tickets directly from the venue.

Well, firstly we were absolutely amazed by St. Peter's basilica! Everyone should see this place in their lifetime. The guide was absolutely excellent, very knowledgable and without her info the experience would have been greatly devalued! The Vatican museum was so impressive - but really long, and hot!! The Sistine chapel - well, what can I say but wow!!! You could actually spend a week at these places and not see everything 😊

Our guide was really good, he demonstrated to know a lot about the Basilica and he was enthusiastic explaining everything. The only confusing part for us was that the ticket mentioned there were two different entrances, one for general public and another one for people with tickets, which would be our case. However, there weren't different entrances, only one, and we ended up wasting some time looking for the entrance.

However, our tour guide - once we got through the security line - was very good. He provided great explanations, along with a few little-known facts. Based on the quality of the tour, this is something worth going. Just don't expect the advertised "skip the line."

Den Petersdom und die vatikanischen Museen muss man auf jeden Fall gesehen haben, auch wenn es im Sommer anstrengend wird. Es war alles gut organisiert und hat wie beschrieben geklappt. Für die Sicherheitskontrolle vor dem Petersdom (vor demTreffpunkt!) muss je nach Andrang ordentlich Zeit eingeplant werden, bei uns morgens, in der Woche, in praller Sonne ca. 45 min, später war die Schlange aber viel länger. Wir haben Kopfhörer und einen Funkempfänger bekommen. Leider immer wieder Aussetzer beim Ton. Ohne das Gerät versteht man nicht viel, weil sehr viele Gruppen parallel unterwegs sind.

Tuvimos un problema con la elección del idioma a la hora de reservar la visita y de forma online fue pésima y horrible la atención, no nos dieron opciones. En cambio ya en el mostrador del tour operador en la propia Basílica de San Pedro nos resolvieron el problema con muchísima atención y de una forma rapidísima. Unsere Führerin Cristina war sehr locker, hat alles gut beschrieben und die wichtigsten Details humorvoll erklärt. Man konnte super folgen. Es wäre gut auf die Security Maßnahmen mehr einzugehen, denn ohne an der Schlange vorbeizuschummeln , hätten wir diese Führung verpasst... The guide and the information provided was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. However the instructions issued in advance were poor ie meet at the holy door. I presumed that as we had purchased pre booked tickets that we did not require to wait in the long queue and spent 20 minutes looking g for the .meeting place. Having then decided that we should join the queue it was then over an hour before we reached the meeting point. The instructions provided requested that we should arrive 30 minutes before our booked time which was clearly no where near enough time to arrive on time.

The local guide from Vox Mundi was very professional, cooperative and accommodating to take us in another tour group as we were not able to get on our time slot due to long line up. However, another guided tour booked through headout for Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel gave us very bitter experience as your local partner City Wonder was not supportive and cooperative to join the group that we missed a bit due to confusion of meeting point. We were really impressed by the tour we had at Saint peter's basilica. The art historian was fabulous. We were less impressed with the experience we had for the Vatican. I guess escorted entry doesn't equal a guide, especially when the escort simply hands you a ticket and points you in the direction of the Vatican. We ended up being late for our a Basílica Tour because there's simply wasn't enough time to get through the Vatican and then move over to the Basilica side. This should be advised in the tour booking process (to leave sufficient time between the tours) and there should be a recommendation for how much time to allow for the Vatican itself if people do that first .

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the interesting details in the basilica. Without a guided tour, a lot of stuff will be missed if I went by myself. It's just unfortunate that the tour was only around 1 hour, it would have been more enjoyable if it was longer because I wanted to learn more from the guide (preferably all the small details in the basilica).
