The entrance to the Basilica was very simple, we did not have to wait for anything, we entered directly, the organization inside the Basilica was very good and not too crowded.

it was great being able to go straight in to the attraction. It also helps a lot being able to book in advance to guarantee the day/time you want.
I was much less keen on having to download an app just to store the tickets in- would have been much simpler to send them as pdf- same effect being saved to phone, just one less thing slowing the process down having to open an app.

Ticketing was not complicated, at the venue getting in was straight forward. The Basilica was gorgeous, a real treasure.

Tickets not valid for selected day due to exceptional event causing basilica closure. Ticket not valid the next day. I'm waiting for a refund from the site, but it looks complicated I think.

It was during the shoulder season and a bad weather day. We had to wait in a very long line out in the rain. The cathedral itself is mind blowing. I would want to reexperience this in a good weather day and not the massive crowds.

Very nice. I would have preferred to receive the tickets by email and not download a new app for the occasion but no big deal. The ticket we took included the pala d'oro, on the spot we paid extra to see the floor, the museum and the terrace (7€ access) and we absolutely did not regret it. It's one of the most beautiful Basilicas in the world.

The Basilica has a very sacred, private, solemn atmosphere. The decoration is mind boggling, extremely beautiful and significant. The pala d'oro is a precious gorgeous holy object.
The columns under which rest the relics of San Marco are detailed and exquisitely carved.
