Salzburg Card: 30+ Attractions & Public Transport

The price-performance ratio is excellent! After 2-3 sights the money is back in. Also, you could often walk past the long checkout queue and go straight to the entrance. Would recommend it to anyone.

First of all the value of the card. It paid for itself after just a few experiences. I lived in Salzburg for a year (many years ago) but even I found the card a great "guid" as to what to do.

Sadly had to miss concert due to death in family. However, organization sent condolences and said I could use the tickets at a later date. Very classy!! Thank you.

The Saltzburg card Is a brilliant idea, it will give you the possibility to visit the town and it's attraction, freely. The only remark is that you don't provide the QR code directly by the net, but intead is needed to go to the info point. This obliged us to buy a bus ticket to reach the city center to get the card.

The card allowed us to see all that Salzburg had to offer, even things we knew nothing about, like Hellbrunn Palace, Christmas Museum, Marionette Museum. Free bus travel was a bonus.

Great value for money and the inclusion of free public transport is an awesome idea. Made our stay easy to plan and very enjoyable.

It was really easy, you could skip the lines for the tickets and just scan your card in for example every building in the fort.

Once we understood how everything worked, we were able to make the best use of our Salzburg Card for various admissions and public transportation.

The castle and the zoo are well worth a visit. Nice walk to the castle. Beautiful park at the castle and the fountains are wonderful

Dass man mit der Salzburgcard auch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel benutzen kann. Dass man schneller durch die Bezahlschranke kommt.

Receiving the tickets was not smooth. I only received a voucher (no e-card or QR) from Headout, which should have been redeemed on the spot. I tried to redeem it at the Mozartplatz office, but they sent me away to make it with Headout. When that didn't work either, I went back to the office. The lady then willingly handed me the tickets. Unfortunately, I didn't miss out on this ordeal. Unfortunately, the next day we had to cut our trip short due to the illness of a family member and were unable to use the tickets.

The card was a great price and I loved the fact that public transport was included. It included all the attractions I wanted to get into. The only downside was that I couldn't no on the cable car due as it was closed due to strong winds. Also would have preferred if you could download card onto your phone rather than having to get a physical card from a location.

Great value for money, made travel around the city easy and it was a convenient location and process to convert the online voucher into the Saltzburg card.

Our 3 days in Salzburg with 2 grandchildren were full of attractions: Zoo, trick fountains at Hellbrunn, Old Town tour, Hohensalzburg Fortress, Catacombs, Mirabell and House of Nature were the main attractions. One tip for improvement: as long as the Stadtcafe is closed, there should be more space for a break in the museum. It should also be pointed out that the Salzburgcard is best exchanged for a day ticket at the ticket office, so that you can leave the museum in between, e.g. to get to the lockers in the basement or to get a snack in the surrounding area. we were in the museum from 10:00 to 17:00, so a break with kids is absolutely necessary.

We are really satisfied with the Salzburg card. Transport, tourist attractions etc all easy to use. Really great value for money. However, when I bought the card online, I had to go to information centre to exchange to physical card. Which is inconvenient. Wish we could use online card or use barcode on email , or you could exchange in first attraction entrance (We find Innsbruck welcome card was so great)

Highly recommended, very good bus connection which you can use free of charge with the card. The cable car ride up and down is worth the price alone. Museum entrance and boat trip also included.

Such good value compared to other city tourist cards I've had. Was able to visit so many attractions for a very reasonable price.

Carefree travel on public transport and the opportunity to stay spontaneous. Thanks to the Salzburg Card, almost every admission was free, which made planning the day much easier. The trip was so relaxed and many spontaneous excursions were undertaken. Without the Salzburg Card we would probably not have experienced so much.

It was very nice visit of Salzburg and we will come back. It would be easier if the ticket was virtual because it takes a lot of time to get to infopoint. All places are cloesed too eary and you can not visit a lot in a day,
