Audio Guide to the National Palace of Pena & Park

Beautiful but poor description about inside walking condition to venue eg it was all uphill took way more time than described

As a traveler, I've seen more than a few castles and palaces that n my time. Pena Palace is unique among them. The views from every window, balcony and terrace are breathtaking. The people running the place are kind and friendly. I felt I had a genuine glimpse into the lives of the former occupants due to the fact the original furnishings, right down to the personal knickknacks were still in place. Overall it was a most memorable experience.

Ticket would not open to display scan code for entry. Audio guide was never in sync with palace rooms/locations and moved very quickly; had difficulty finding correct module to play and it ended arrubptly. The audio guide was a complete waste of money.

Réservation facile et rapide. Mais l'audio guide est à utiliser avec mon téléphone, ce que je n'ai pas compris. Pas assez de batterie, je n'ai pas pu utiliser l'audio guide.

We really enjoyed our visit, but were unable to use the audio guides. The e-mail we received was not very clear. The title of the e-mail was "Your Lisbon experience is just around the corner! Here's everything you need" but nowhere did it say HOW TO USE YOUR AUDIOGUIDE. As a result, we paid for 3 audioguides and were unable to use them... A refund would be appreciated...

It was a great experience to see the splendour of the palace and the host behind it - only issue was it was raining on the smday and could not appreciate the gardens - Paddy and Adrienne - from Ireland

The process of getting the audio guide seemed complicated, and though I had downloaded it beforehand, I couldn't access it at the palace.

The Palace was fantastic, very enjoyable tour. The ticket experience was disappointing. It was our own fault but we purchased the audio option and the tour, we didn't realize there was two sets of tickets and when at the gate we were opening the Audio Tour tickets and it didn't have a barcode so they wouldn't let us in, we eventually had to buy another set of tickets. The tickets onsight are cheaper than online.

It seems wrong to me that the audio guide and the entrance ticket are booked separately, when they are offered in a pack. There are three different tickets: palace, audio guide and transport.

The audio guide is from another area of Sintra and does not correspond to the palace or the park. 10 € thrown away.

The palace and grounds were lovely but it could benefit from better signage.
