In spite of the large crowd, we got in nearly in the exact time. Was worthy to buy tickets online, made it all easy. Just to queue in the specified time and be patience.
The place is a bit small for so many people but security people ard helping to move one group in one way and let other ones follow.

The ticket stopped working/beiing visible and that created quite a que as i needed to scan ticket when buying a book.
I also could not get to the ticket standing in que and had to ask staff for help.

The place is amazing, beautiful building. I wish there were less people to enjoy it better, I would be willing to pay more if you could really enjoy it as a library.

The bookstore was beautiful and a must see in Porto, but even later in the day it was very crowded and hard to move around.

The store is quite a tourist trap and there were a lot of people in the store which made it difficult to navigate. We literally went in for 10 minutes and then left after buying a book. Most annoying were the tourists crowding the staircase for a picture which blocked the way up and down the stairs. They let too many people in at one time.

The wait outside the Lello bookshop at 9.45am was very short. No more than 5-10 minutes. As we had bought a book, the entrance fee was refunded. The visit was pleasant, but the number of tourists blocking access to the staircase to take the perfect photo was annoying. The bookshop wasn't overcrowded, but people are blocking your way to strike a pose. They want a photo that looks like they're alone, but they're not.

The store is very crowded. Taking selfie's and photos on the stairs of the store should not be allowed. People can not move easily up and down and this is not only frustrating it is dangerous. The store itself is beautiful and worth seeing.

Not great waiting in the rain for 20 mins to be allowed in - ten minutes after out scheduled tickets time! However inside was amazing and well worth the visit.

I booked my tickets that morning for a 1:15pm visit. Very well organized with 2 alternating queues and color coding.
A lot of people in the bookshop, it's very very difficult to appreciate the decor, the photos are always with lots of other tourists...
It's not nice to charge €10 to enter a shop... (children free)
