It was good but we'd have to find a way not to have to give your email address and code each time. And it would be better over 4 days, which corresponds to a complete visit of the city and its surroundings.

Transport passes don't work at any of the barriers. Staff at both train stations and metro are well aware of this and are kind enough to let you pass through. Lady at the information desk said that they rarely work so this is a known issue.
Also we were of the impression that we could use the pass to get a discounted entry to a museum after our two free visits and this was not the case.
All in all we felt that we didn't save money by buying the card and had lots of issues setting it up.

Your website was down and we couldn't access our timed tickets to Pompei when we arrived at the venue. We waited one half hour for the website to work, it did not, then we finally ended up paying again for new tickets so we could get in. This is a horrible service. We'll never use it again and will advise others to avoid it

It wasn't possible to download the transportation ticket and that was the one necessary all the time. I had to log in each time at the artecard app anyway. As the Metro is underground it was impossible to connect to the internet so I experienced a lot of trouble getting into the stationa. Very bad. Headout charged unnecessary 8€ for nothing. Get the artecard at artecard app. As soon as I accepted Headout in my Smartphone I started getting tons of spam in Italian. Don't use Headout!

Artecard Campania \ Naples should not be bought from this vendor. You pay extra and only get delays in getting your card assigned in the app - vendor will wait till last minute to hide the fact that it's basically a scam to get you to pay extra cash for offer from another vendor (Artecard). This is partly to blame due to Artecard app that is badly positioned online and in google store. Just install Artecard mobile app (it's not perfect but functional) and buy the card for less there without waiting for someone on the support line to activate the card for you (waste of time and money).

Easy to use and good value for site entry and getting around. Got on train from Sorrento to Herculaneum not knowing it only stopped a few times a day. Went through to Naples and easily caught the train to Herculaneum without extra cost or trouble. 😂

one (big) thing i didn't like : the activation process is too long.
in my case : write via whatsapp with the team, download the app, register with my personal data and send the registration mail back to the team. For me it's not that big problem, but i think older people will get a problem with that for sure.

Great once I got the cards but there was a problem getting them activated (technical at Artecarc!) , I had to email several times and eventually telephone a couple of times, quite stressful on holiday!

Easy to use the artecard and we had a wonderful visit to Pompei. Spent the whole day there and parked our car at the nearby europark which was good value. Pompei was everything we thought it would be and will visit again if we come to this area

I am basically an IT dinosaur and did not find the experience of using the Artecard easy, especially as the signal to my phone when we were in Italy was, at best, problematical. However Headout staff were most helpful when I contacted them.

It was so easy to use the artecard on the train, and equally as easy to visit the amazings attractions of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Cost saving was the best thing. Using the card for travel was confusing, since you couldn't scan anything, but they would usually let you in for free if you mentioned the card. Head out was ok, helpful with setting up the app.
