Quinta da Regaleira Guided Tour

Our tour guide was really great and really helpful with guiding us on our next town that we were headed to the next morning! Highly recommend this tour!

Katherine was an amazing guide!! Her interaction and wealth of knowledge enriched our experience. Katherine moved us along at the perfect pace - allowing time for photos and exploration, but keeping us on track to cover the entire grounds. Thank you for helping create a memorable afternoon!!

Very nice guide and explains every detail very well! You can see that he likes and enjoys it, which makes the rest of us do it too!

The guide was very friendly and respectful. We would have liked some more explanations and to see more areas of the site. I expected more, according to what we paid.

Alex was our guide for the tour. He is bilingual and able to speak both English and Spanish. Our tour had both group and Alex was fluent to interact with everyone, ensuring that all the participants are listening and answer any queries that we had. It was good to have Alex since he was knowledgeable about the site and able to explain about the structure and history of the site (there isn't any brochure or info around the site so you won't be able to read up about it). It was a great experience!

We waited 15 to 20 minutes for 2 people who were late. The tour was listed as English and the guide was having to translate for the 2 late people who were not understanding the English. There was EXCESSIVE picture taking and the guide also took pictures of these ladies as requested from the 2 people who were late and that held up the tour. Tour guide was good and knowledgeable but very accommodating to the 2 late guests that needed the explanations in another language and keep things from moving along with so very many Glam shots the ladies felt was necessary. Not fair to the group of us that were on time and spoke English and were not holding things up for photos.

We opted for the tour guide. He was wonderful!! Would not have learned about the castle without the tour. We signed up for the Spanish tour and ended up having a private tour. EXCELLENT!!

We had some unfortunate events before coming to our tour which made us to be late, but all the staff was so kind and acommodating that they still made it work and we manage to do the tour! Quinta da Regaleira was not too busy and the tour (with the guide Alex) was great! Not too long, but very informative and clear. We had enough time to look around, take pictures, and the guide had every answer to our silly questions. The proccess of buying tickets was easy and fast

El lugar es precioso, y tuvimos un lindo grupo dirigido por Maira. Cálida y muy interesante su manera de contar la historia.

The girl was an awesome tour guide, very kind very smart she knows how to explain in a funny way, she also gave us some tips about places that I could visit in Lisbon

The ticket purchasing process was easy. The experience was amazing! Our guide was knowledgeable and did a fantastic job.

Ticketing on line easy; guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. There was one elderly person who was concerned about going down the initiation well. He assured her she could back out if needed. He was very attentive. Tour itself was great - exception long line into the Initiation Well. Nothing the tour guide could do. I would tecommend this tour - take it early or later in thd afternoon.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. Something to improve the meeting point ( the map) showing in the instructions are not up to date.

The young guide we had was informed, very pleasant and personable. And the venue - extraordinary. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The tour guide was very good at adapting the tour to suit our diverse group which included a family with 2 young children. She was also very knowledgeable.

Lovely place, really unique and different from other palaces in Sintra. The only limitation is the parking, the advice is to arrive well in advance to be on time for the tour appointment. The tour guides are really nice guys and attentive to the needs of all participants. Based on language proficiency, they divided us into small groups to enjoy the tour to the fullest.

En la página web recomiendan coger el autobús 1253, estuvimos más de media hora esperando y no pasó por la parada. Si pasaron un montón de autobuses turísticos que valían 12,5€ por persona/día. Al final fuimos en uber cuatro personas, 1€ por cabeza, para no llegar tarde. Fuimos en Agosto y la logística no está preparada para tantos turistas. El sitio es espectacular, y la guía bien pero su español es mejorable.

Our guide was amazing and this tour is an absolute must :) It is definitely a much better experience when you take this tour with a guide.

The guide was super friendly and educated about the area, and the environment was amazing. We took a English guide and our guide also had to speak Spanish as we had some Spanish speakers in the group, which wasn't ideal as it was a lot of waiting time.

The guide was very knowledgeable. Hearing the history made this tour much more interesting than if we had gone on our own.
