We got there early so there was no line. Could have easily bought tickets there for a cheaper price. But booking only was easy. The previous day we had encountered a 2 hour wait at sites on Lisbon because we hadn't pre-booked.
Sintra is lovely. Was worthwhile doing the GuruWalk afternoon walking tour with Slava which gave historical context to the palaces and castles and the town (it was quirky and enjoyable)

Quinta and park are amaising. I didn't use my audioguide on location becouse I enjoy every corner of Quinta. I could stay all day, but I didn't have time. I think it is better to make story about Quinta to listen at home and put the arrows on the path in park as direction of walk. It is very cofusing to follow audioguide, enjoy every corner and take pictures and videos at the same time.

Nice to skip the entrance line, but we still had to wait in line at the well. There should be a skip the line at your main attraction too.

The directions were confusing and sometimes didn't make sense. It my be a translation issue to English? But I have up on the instructions and navigated but myself

Beautiful place, skip the line tickets well worth it
Disappointed in signage at venue. Main attraction I went for was the initiation well. The line was so long & not moving we ended up leaving. I knew it was a main attraction for that venue which is why we arrived early. Very disappointed mainly because I know I'll likely not have an opportunity to return,

We had some issues with the download but eventually worked them out. I was expecting the old fashion headsets for the walk through tour on arrival. The audio tour guides knowledge was great but using the phone was a pain and we found directions on the grounds to be limiting (both from the tour and even worst in the venue itself). We spent over an hour roaming with other groups of international tourist walking through weeds looking for "The Well". I can now say "the well" in multiple languages. Don't take it personally but "alrights" about the best I can give ya.

Tha attraction was beautiful. The ticket buying process was easy and helpful they let me download them becuase there was not great service at the attraction itself

We took a Bolt to the quinta de regaleira. When the doors open, I recommend you run to the initiation well, as the queue is incredible, then follow the map to the various key points. If possible, take the stairs on the right. There are quite a few passages that lead nowhere, so we wasted a lot of time. Take a good look at the map before you go.
We then left the château and walked up to the right for 7-8 min. There's a stop on the 434 to take you up to the peña. Then take the shuttle bus to the palace. The Peña is incredible. On the other hand, we had booked tickets to visit the park, which we were unable to do. We had to walk 1.4 km to reach the chalet. After 5 days of visiting the park, we didn't have the energy.

It was great to have the tickets in my app but sadly the service was terrible and it took quite awhile to get them to download. I guess I expected them to be ready in the app.

The audio guide was near impossible to follow. And we never knew where we were in the park at any given time. There were things that we were looking for, and after searching the Audio never found them.

First we thought we bought tickets without queue and it was not so, without queue was for the fifth and of course there was no one there, the palace has very nice views but inside was a world of people and you could not even take a picture, it is also a mess to get there they do not allow you to go by car so when you arrive or you walk a lot or they take you some that supposedly are for tourism and take you for 10 euros per person to the palace, the audio guides are more or less good but inside there are places that are not signposted, the truth is that the tour is not so good, the fifth tour is much more friendly and interesting.

Beautiful gardens and buildings but I would advise people clearly to be at Sintra train station 1hr before needing to enter pena palace plus explain the cost of the bus to the iron gate.

The quality of the site and the fact that we were able to cut the queue. We also appreciated the French audio guide. No difficulties at all. All our requests were met.

The grounds were lovely but the experience was confusing even with audio guide. It was difficult to hit and find the high points. The very worst thing was the spot the bus driver dropped us - it was a strenuous uphill climb. Very strenuous. Very little help at the gates.

The place was lively but overbooked the uphill walk is to waiting line is strenuous. I cannot imagine visiting in summer with high temps. We are glad we went but it was crowded. We did not get to see the grounds

Easy access to tickets, my only negative point, as we bought 2 tickets, I would have really appreciated it if they were on the same folder.

Quinta palace gardens very pretty but massive queue for the well. Pinta palace was massively overcrowded which detracted from the city experience to a great extent

The palace is nice but not beautiful, same for the garden. Let's say it is highly publicized but there are other more beautiful things not to be missed, such as the palace of Monserrate

Good tickets for entrance no complaints , pena palace is well worth the visit although I'm not sure the timed slot mattered for the outside and the inside wasn't that impressive so in hindsight was happy enjoying the view walking the outside and the park only (which can be done outside the slot times)
