The many animals that we were able to see up close (thanks to the windows and other facilities); the ease of getting around, as the paths were fairly flat, which is much appreciated by a PRM like me.

This was beyond our expectations, we absolutely loved it! It was great to see so many animals plus playgrounds for the kids as well. A shame that a few animals weren't out but that didn't take away from the enjoyment of it all.
Our daughter is autistic and we weren't sure how she would react to it but she loved it as much as we did. She absolutely adored the seals and could have sat there for ages watching them.
One thing I will say is that it would be nice to have more sensory toys in the gift shop

It was a very smooth experience, from buying the ticket to visiting Casa Batlló. I loved every room in the house and the easy-to-use resources that are available to help us understand the history of the building, the painter and the family that owns the house.
My advice is to buy the ticket that provides not only the audio guide but also the tablet. Unfortunately, my ticket was the basic one for financial reasons, but it's worth having access to the tablet and seeing the house set up with the furniture.

The zoo was quiet, engaging with natural settings. The animal enclosures were large and they all looked content. Plenty of room to roam. Easy to navigate in a wheelchair, too.
