Montserrat Monastery Experience Tickets with Audio Guide

Magnificent view ... and beautiful site with the bonus of good weather. 😍😍😍😍

The visit was beautiful and amazing, but the audio guides that we rented did not work well. I recommend visiting, but I don't recommend the audio guides.

The scenery and the monetary were beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised by the art museum as well. It was a lot more extensive than we were expecting. Great hiking to be had as well and some incredible panoramic views. A couple tips though: if you buy the ticket and train ride from Barcelona combo pass, make sure not to schedule the morning pass. The train from Barcelona doesn't even leave until around 0800 and takes a little over an hour to get there. Though if you miss your time slot - you can still get in. You even go to the front of the line. It can just be a little confusing figuring all that out. Also, although this combo pass is great - the passes that were emailed didn't come with instructions on how to actually use it. Turns out that the one QR code is for both the train and the monetary. I did contact support and they d it s send the actual tickets to my email which cleared this up a bit.

All this time we thought it wasn't possible to do a DIY tour for Montserrat that we had to book a bus going there. Thanks to headout for making the DIY experience possible and convenient. Just a reco on the instructions to claim your train tickets in the Place de España ticket booth.

The venue itself is fantastic with beautiful buildings and garden nearby. However a number of facilities was closed for the visitors, which is disappointing. Apart from that everything is great.

The direction was not clear on the ticket and the agent from headout was also reading what I am reading and can not give me extra detail. It's frustating. It was not a pleasant experience , we missed our train going there because of the unclear direction from headout and have to wait extra 1 hour and going back the train broke down so we have to wait an extra 2 hours.

Good timing, nice tour leader. Good information. Fantastic view, and nice church and visit experience to black virgin.

The journey to the Monastery is very nice with spectacular views. The natural environment that surrounds the Monastery is unmatched and the Church with its decorated altars, walls and ceilings is just amazing...a very entertaining day!

The overall impression was amazing and all activities included in my ticket were perfectly done. The most georgeous was umique opportunity to touch Black Madona and to attend the service

The organization of connections always kn on time. Montserrat very interesting in a very beautiful natural setting. Maybe a little too touristy .

Montserrat was very beautiful and we enjoyed the experience! Would have been helpful to include more information on how/where to use the code to redeem the train tickets. Was not clear on the instructions but luckily we were able to find the tourist information booth at Placa Espanya station and get the train tickets.

Everything from the beginning and upto the end of our visit was organized to perfection.The only comment is capela time wasn't explained to the details in terms of time and timing. 

It's a must sea. Spectacular view. Very unique sanctuary. Very touching spirituality. And the museum is a very nice add on.

Useful audioguide but the information should be shorter with more entries (the explanations are really good but quite long and do no go along with the pace ot the visit).

Montserrat was more than great and we do not regret going there, buying the full package from Headout. However, Headout must write and sent all people, who book it, a FULL and DETAILED explanation how to proceed. - We did not know that we need to show our HO tickets at the Espana train station and get the real train round-trip tickets from the live person train counter there. We nearly missed the 8:36 am train. - The only time when the QR code was visible on the HO tickets WITH or WITHOUT internet connection was fortunately at the Espana train station. At all other times the QR codes were NOT visible at all. I had requested in advance of the trip a confirmation e-mail from a HO agent about what is included in the package and other details about the visit, and only because of this e-mail we got in everywhere in Montserrat as there were no QR codes to be scanned. - HO MUST enable all tickets to be placed in everyone's phone wallets. So my rating for Montserrat itself as a sightseeing site is excellent, but for Headout service - poor. The HO price for all that we visited at Montserrat and the travel is very good, almost excellent. Please improve your instructions and information for people buying your packages! And make sure QR codes are scannable at all times. We had the same problem with the other HO tickets for Palau Musica in Barcelona and we were lucky they made a photo of our tickets and reservation and we got in.

Beautiful place and everything very organized. It's a pity that this information is not provided before buying it, not even when I bought it and asked by chat they knew how to explain it well. It was not clear where to pick up train and rack railway tickets, where to get tickets for other activities, nor that there are several options of cafeteria, restaurant and even an area to take a snack and eat outdoors. It is also not mentioned that there is the possibility of taking a furnicular or walking to get higher, it is confusing. But I recommend it

The visit to Montserrat Monastery was very interesting and the use of the audio guide allowed us to learn more about the history of the place. It's well worth it.

The actual experience was good. I enjoyed seeing the monastery and going for a walk at the top. I was also able to attend Mass on the Holy day when I went. I was highly dissatisfied, however, with the information from the firm which sold us the tickets. I was not at all clear how to get to the bottom of the rack railway from where we were staying. We lacked information about where to begin the metro journey and made it by guesswork. There were engineering works on the line and we were not given information on how to get around them. I did try contacting for advice but the response came too late.

The area is fantastic, the monastery is located in a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately, it was not at all recognizable where we had direct access with our tickets or how the course of the tour should / can be done Also was not at all recognizable where we could have downloaded the booked audio guide. The staff on site was unfortunately not helpful.

A great discovery during our stay in Barcelona. Easy access and breathtaking views. If you're thinking of eating in, try the buffet. For €20 per person, there's even unlimited wine and beer!
