the actors were really good and it was inpressive and exciting to see how they changed the scenes and moved totoro and totoro's friends, I really cried a lot in the scene where he loses his little sister, the actors and the scene totally innered you into the story, I felt totally absorbed.

The staging is highly original, and the actors are brimming with infectious energy. Very faithful to the work. Accompanied by a superb orchestra and a superb singer who honors the songs of the anime!!! Totoro's appearances (what a size!!) are also well worth the detour!

Very respectful of the original animation, great actors and actresses, live musicians and an amazing singer, the show is packed with so many wonderful ideas to keep it fresh for the entire duration Just come with a pack of tissues (it will make you laugh as much as it will make you cry) and a thick sweater, the drafts generated by the AC are uncomfortably freezing Theater staff was very welcoming too 💜

Absolutely mesmerising! As a ghibili fan, I was really skeptical of the play but was wonderfully surprised by the entire experience. The stage design, clever use of props, all the actors and of course, lights and music! It was a truly heart warming and delightful evening 💕 (photos not allowed)

We travel from Glasgow to London for this show. It was so stunning, so beautiful, so dreamy. No wonder the nearly 1,000-seat theater was packed on a typical Wednesday night. The 5D effect was at its peak, and the expensively crafted stage props recreated three scenes from the original novel: the first encounter with Totoro, holding an umbrella for the atotoro and the cat bus's night sky run. Three dreamlike scenes that should only exist in our imaginations. A live orchestra and singers provided the score, and the three-hour-plus performance didn't have a single flaw. Wow, it made up for my previous regret of missing out on Spirited Away. Hayao Miyazaki has brought another profound and heartwarming play to life. I'm so happy ❤️ So, everyone with or without kids visiting London soon, come and see this show it's a must!

Our seats were great and we were able to buy an extra seat last minute almost next to the others. The production is impressive but more importantly, so well thought out and executed by the actors. The music was beautiful and the stage seemed like it was literally growing towards the us. A very magical moment that made us cry happy tears.

Absolutely incredible. The live music, mind-boggling set design, acting, and of course fanciful story of Totoro moved me profoundly. Everything from the finest details (dropping a 'u' into Neighbor right after the music started) to the grandest spectacles (let's just say the Cat Bus was next-level) created waves of tingles down my spine and set tears welling. It's 2+ hours of exactly the kind of empathy, joy, and wonder the world needs these days.

The most visually magical show I have ever seen. The sets are so clever and change to envoke different emotions in moments. The puppeteers are masters of their craft. The integrated of the singer and puppeteers with the actors is playful and emotional.

Beautiful location, visited the bar and restaurant after seeing Totoro. Great performance by all the artist. Loved Totoro they really brought him alive. Unfortunately couldn't see the back of the stage due to seats, do didn't see the orchestra at all

On my first day out in London I conveniently saw an ad on a London bus pass by with a link to tickets to see My Neighbor Totoro as a stage adaptation by the Royal Shakespeare Company. I knew this would be the highlight of my trip, and I was not disappointed. It was a brilliant adaptation. I had a truly memorable night out that reminded me why London is one of the biggest culture hubs in the world.

So amazing!! nothing bad to say about the play at all!! it is a bit of a shame that being up in the gallery there was a metal bar that covered the view of the stage. had to lean forwards throughout the whole thing which hurt my back. But really excellent play! the characters were sooo cute i cried like 3 times
